Sure, if he stood there all the time, he'd be able to sing it fine. But he jumps around, and is therefore more out of breath, etc. He's made the decision that stage antics are important to him. I like it to sound good, but I also enjoy watching him dance, so I'm generally okay with the performance, long as the vocals are acceptable

It's like if you listen to some King Crimson (one of the band's influences), and it's something you're not used to hearing; however, once you understand what's going on, you want more. I don't even know any other singer who'd be able to work with Omar. There's obviously no drummer that can for long periods of time.
