The quality of this video is amazing! but my hauppauge doesn't have that kind of quality when I look at it. Does it depend on how good your graphics card is or is there some way to format it better. Im working on a mac too, please respond :(

@williamiswill Then it's probably the import settings or the software you're using. I use a program called EyeTV.

@williamiswill Okay then, I'm guessing the settings are set incorrectly. Under Preferences, go to Devices and make sure the quality is set at "Best". Also, under "Display", I have Overscan turned on, Full Screen set to "normal", and under Deinterlace I have Standard TV set to "Progressive Scan" and HDTV set to "Drop Field".

If that doesn't work, make sure you're Xbox display is set to at least 720p. On your Xbox, go to "System Settings", then to "Console Settings", "Display" & "HDTV Settings"

@ThomasProductions I did that and It still isnt nearly as good looking as this......do you color grade by any chance?

@williamiswill I don't. I'd double check the Xbox settings just to make sure; I had it set at 1080p when I first tried and it didn't work correctly. Try exporting a clip with the format "HDV 720p" and see if what comes out looks any better. The only other thing I can think of is the version of EyeTV you're using. Mine is 3.4.2

@ThomasProductions same version here. Hmmm It might be that my display on my mac is weird and makes the video look odd. What ive noticed with the HD pvr is that is makes the colors in the game darker and less colorful, so I color grade to fix that, do you do it?

@williamiswill I usually notice that it's a bit darker when I'm editing, but it's normal when I export the finished video.
