  • i love you mr gumy bear ,,,,fuck the green 1

  • @jcdezoyza no, salt is sodium chloride. Idk what potassium chlorides household name is

  • dude can i use Potassium nitrate?

  • This music is boss!

  • my freshman biology teacher did this w/ M&Ms

  • can i build rockets with this

  • isn't potassium chlorate just salt

  • Blolololoo lololololo

  • Amazing

  • KILL THIS WITCH !!!

  • you can use potassium nitrate instead of potassium chlorate and you'll get a similar if not identical effect

  • @kcirtap1423yes you'll get a very similar effect but nothing as powerful as with KClO3.

  • Sugar and potassium chlorate often react extremely violently. i want to avoid the explosion. How can i make the reaction less dramatic?

  • Exothermic reaction, anyone else agree?

  • @GlitchScape Who the fuck could possibly disagree? Looks pretty damn hot to me!

And @RAINZHOU09 Use very small of each. Less surface area = less dramatic results.

  • Where can I buy potassium chlorate in the UK?

  • My favorite reaction!!!

  • My mother does like that when she's nervous! xD

  • when ever i try this the sugar cube is shot back out of the test tube splattering chlorate also. what can i do

  • im never going to eat anything with sugar in it again.

  • sounded like a screamer video

  • brown

  • Is there a potassium chlorate, sugar rocket propellant.? I think this would work splendidly.

  • @randyclar747 No, chlorates are too unstable for rocketry use

  • just wondering where did you buy that ring stand and that test tube clamp thing...b/c ive been looking everywhere for one...Thanks

  • It's also called no- salt and it's radioactive.

  • That sounded really funny.

  • Oxidation. It is when something reacts with air. Like Magnesium Metal, it reacts by burning brightly. Some things do not react with air, and some need heat and a catalyst, like this one.

  • What do you mean by oxidizing? I'm guessing something to do with oxygen?.

  • Now that was a neat experiment

  • 0:06 nty

  • lol @ the poppin at the end :'D

  • Potassium Chlorate can be bought where.

  • is this the thing they use for nitrous?

  • That sure startled me.

  • i jumped because i thought nothing would happen hehe

  • Get this shit outta my mouth!!!

  • hell fire!!!

  • CRAZY!!!!

  • Holy shit!

  • you can use a gummy bear as well :P

  • Very true! Anything with sugar in it works very well. I didn't have any gummy bears with me, but I think I will film a VS. video with a bunch of different candies soon. :)

  • actually my chemistry professor said that this reaction works with anything organic with potassium chlorate.. a student challenged him by saying he couldn't make a raisin explode... well he won xD

  • @ThirstForScience yeah we did this at the end of the year in chem our teacher was a kook so we all chanted WAH HOO HA HE HA HO HO HO ( from finding nemo) before "sacraficing" the gummy bear to please the chemistry gods

  • @ThirstForScience can I do this with stump remover?

  • that was fucking awesome

  • where to get that potasium chlorate ?!

  • HOLY CRAP!

  • very awesome shit ^^ !!!!!!!

  • Omg when i was watching this i COULD NOT stop laughing for some unusual reason,,,,

  • exactly dont do it at home do it at a friends house lol

  • ...It burped. lol
