Got to love Daleym26! My own favourites endings are Once Upon A Time In America, Usual Suspects, Bridges Of Madison County, Night Of The Demon, Its A Wonderful Life and so many more! But above them all - Casablanca. Nice work man!

Nice list, but I don't agree with the order. Casablanca should have been number 1 and then followed by On The Waterfront. Plus I always like Godfather II's ending, if you don't include the birthday scene, better than The Godfather, but then that's just me.

Gone With the Wind is my personal favorite (followed by Casablanca and Fight Club) but the ending of On the Waterfront is extraordinary as well.

this is one of the greatest movies of all time. i watched it yesterday, and it gave me the chills. Movies today are all about special effects, that has very shallow plot. The classics are the films that always gets you deep inside the plot and pulls you out the the very end, as you are left in a state of awe and amazement.

It's a great list.  I'm sure you'd agree that the end of "Midnight Cowboy" was also fantastic. Of the more recent movies, I think the end of "Vanilla Sky" was good, too. Thanks for posting.

This was a great list! A lot of my favorites were on here. I might have put Casablanca a little higher but any list with the Searchers, and City Lights is solid. Great job.
