  • Nice playing and I like the twangy tone of that Stella!

  • i have a stella four string acoutsic thats markings are 4712H 929 origanal case can someone help me

  • @MrTheree yours is an H929 tenor guitar (hence the 4 strings), there might be a date stamp inside too. Check out the Harmony guitar database.

  • what tuning r u using? can't wait to see the video of the supertone 1928.

  • @mjt11860 OPEN D BEEN AWAY .

  • I have a Stella with the exact same fret markers and headstock style. It's from 1965. My guess would be that yours is about the same time period. There should be a (likely very faded) stamp on the inside that says something like S-65, which means it was manufactured for sale in the Summer of 1965. Nice guitar!

  • @jasonr123guitar - hey dude, my Harmony Stella's mark is 6414H927 - does that mean 1964, January 4? the neck markers look like this: *>I I<*, sort of K * shapes ...any info help? thanks :)

  • @brohmanski Without seeing it I can't really help. Search "harmony stella serial numbers" on google. There's loads of info out there that can lead you in the right direction.

  • What style of music are you playing? I love that sound! Not quite blues and not quite folk.

  • country blues i guess likes of furry lewis and them guys great little guitar fifty odd years old, i have a supertone 1928 even better, will put it on sometime.

  • i have a stella but that'sall i know, it's really beat up!
