Still sounds cheap by today's standards, right? Considering a 2010 Camaro rs makes about 300HP and costs about $23,000. But look a little closer. What happens when you start adding in the cost of modern tires, suspension, fuel efficiency and safety standards, and so on to that old $15-17,000 muscle car?

Now I'm 25 and it runs high 12's with a 350. If I could do it so can they.

This is just a list of a bunch of GM cars from 1957 to the 80s. With a Pantera thrown in for some reason. Some of them are nice cars, but a list of muscle cars without Mustangs, Cobras, Chargers, Challengers, and Barricudas is WOEFULLY lacking.

Muscle Cars died slowly after '71 and were finally killed in 1974. All the cars that came afterwards are CLEARLY not Muscle Cars. For me all cars after '71 aren't Muscle Cars anymore because the engines were too much "economized".

A Mustang Mach 1 that was made in 1972 delivers approx. 100 hp less than one built in 1970. That's the reason I said they were slowly dying after 1971/GM and Ford after 1970.
