Wunderschön! Ich höre dieses Konzert Babadjanians zum ersten Mal. Dieser erste Satz hat dieselbe versonnen-melancholische Leichtigkeit wie das Klavierkonzert von Chatchaturjan.

This is a beautiful composition. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to it and learning about this wonderful composer. My father was a concert pianist and composer. Which I have followed in his footsteps. His training was greatly influenced by the Russian training. I know if he were here today he would have loved this composition. Thanks for posting it! It brought back great memories of my father.

the only comment I ad is - to the "intro-"-part...

As this masterpiece is performed by the young pianist Armen Babakhanian,but not by Maestro Arno Arutyunovich (the fact is obvious),.. it's to be mentioned only one detail...

the issue is the begining, the inro - up to 1.37-1,55 min. I remember Maestros'own performance in much more richer way, in more Babadjanian's fashion.

Of course I don't undermine the exceptionism of this given interpretation.

By any means ,Bravo Armen! Hrashali e!
