Don't do it. Monte Allum is selling 3 dollars worth of parts for 20 and you can get the mod recipes from any Pedal forum, they are not Monte's recipes. Order the parts yourself from small bear, the forums, or even radio shack!!!
I have recently bought a ds1 whilst visiting San Francisco - I'm from the UK. I only paid $40 for it which is £20! How much is your modded version? I also bought a Zakk Wylde for a bluesier overdrive tone. That responds well to backing off on the guitar volume too... Check mine out on Jason North Blues Band videos on youtube, cheers! Jase
