  • Fun fact: Sebastien Foucan cannot jump from one hundred-foot-high crane to another, nor from that crane thirty feet to a rooftop. And sorry, but Foucan also had a stuntman for when they weren't faking the crane scenes with bluescreen.

  • @textthing fun fact: we realllly don't care

  • @alexladislav

    Fun fact: you suck.

  • The black guy is Mr. Foucan, one of the creators of freerunning.

the scene makes sense once you know this fact.

  • @ModelOmega Uh-huh

  • Man, I hated this movie, but this scene was fun to watch. I don't know how many times I had to rewind when Bond Kool-Aid Man-ed the drywall.

  • I wrote a new song to go with the credits to Casino Royale.. Let me know what you think..

    Copy and paste... kemponeill

  • "Original Prince of Persia" is actually not completely wrong. ^^

  • lol "The other Mario Brother, or the Original Prince of Persia." :P

  • Why isn't the younger jumper guy the new bond, he's awesome!!

  • Mal-Aggasi McBoingBoing

  • 1:07 OOOHHHH YEAAHHHH

  • Um, you commenters DO know this is a REAL SPORT, right? And you didn't like the movie because this scene was too unrealistic for a BOND film?

Talk about "reality is unrealistic"... The guy doing these stunts helped invented the martial art on which the moves in Prince of Persia are based. That's why they hired him, to DO the stunts.

Oh well, on the bright side, we don't have to worry about Parkour being overexposed when MST3K fans have never heard of it.

  • @ijwi

It is and the man is impressive. But their commentary is still funny! :D

  • @ijwi I don't understand why people get butthurt when comedians make fun of something they like. It's comedy. They're mocking it for laughs.

  • @GeneralFatman27 I think the commentary is hilarious too. I was just responding to some of the comments below that the movie sucked because of this one scene because it was unrealistic (or whatever they said, I forget... :-)

  • madagascarianese. hahahaha

  • English Guy!!

  • PF Flyers. Nice, from Sandlot.

  • I'd have said for 1:10

    "OH YEAH!!"

  • I was expecting more of the Kool-Aid "OH YEAHH!!" then "Bond Smash!" LMFAO But it fits.

  • lol BOND SMASH

  • LMAO

    I loved the Bond Smash!!

  • Cinematic Titanic

  • BOND SMASH

  • "Bond Smash!"

    XD

  • "Tell me when you think this is getting a little implausible"

  • Lol yeah. Stupid scene. But there's at least one good thing about it.

It has some action. Most of the rest of the movie moves about as fast as Blade Runner.

  • "BOND SMASH!!"

    These guys are geniuses.

  • Hilarious. I can't for these guys to riff Quantum of Solace......only because I absolutely HATED that movie!!!

  • "He's the original Prince of Persia."

    "Bond Smash!"

    That was great.

  • BOND SMASH!

  • BOND SMA...ah you beat me to it.

  • If I hadn't watched a guy playing Prince of Persia on the train the other day, I wouldn't have found that funny. "Not as graceful as Daffy Duck!"

  • ENGLISH GUY!

  • @masterbuilder2009

The guy being chased is one of the founders of the sport. His entire purpose in the movie is to be chased. Craig probably had a stunt man, but the other guy WAS the stunt man.

  • More implausible than the invisible car from Die Another Day?

  • Or the giant laser in Die Another Day?

  • Or James Bond going after an airplane that went over a cliff with no pilot and following it in a falling motorcycle and some how gaining entry?

  • Or when James Bond faced a guy named odd job who throws a razor sharp hat at a statue made of concrete and managed to chop it's head of?

  • "It's Malagasy McBoingBoing!"

I wonder if the guys knew that one of the gamblers at Le Chiffre's game was the same guy who played CABOT! CABOT! IT'S CABOT! CABOT!....from "Outlaw of Gor"

  • Wow, I woulden't have notice that.

Thanks for another MST3K 'wha happened to them?'

  • Hell yeah! Parkour at its finest!

  • BOND SMASH!!!!.....LMAO

  • @darkseid13 Instead of Bond Smash, I always thought of the Kool-Aid Man.

    Random Guy: "Hey James."

    James Bond: 1:10 "Oh Yeah!"

  • This stuff is an actual job it is called free-running and the dude does it for a living.

  • I actually saw a Sunday Morning special on free running, interesting stuff

  • It's not entirely implausible. The guy jumping is a pro at parkour. He does that kind of stuff for a living.

  • Yeah, that's what I was thinking. I thought he'd done all his own stunts for this?

    -FT

  • "Not entirely implausible"?

They're taking hundred-foot jumps off cranes, for heck's sake!

  • If that were in real life, those guys would have either died or broken several bones after the first jump, or as they said:

Kevin:"So are you saying the movie is beginning to get a little silly?"

    Mike:"Yeah, maybe a touch..."

  • all this stuff is real or have you not seen the stunt nomination they received for this sequence and on Imdb and dvd they all say it is real.

  • Erm, I saw the making of, and all I can say is... stuntmen, cables, bluescreen, and more stuntmen.

  • English guy! ROFLMAO.

  • "That guy is the Cathy Rigby of Madagascar" LOL!

  • lmao "Bond Smash!" and "English guy!"

  • that one line has me in tears LOL!

  • "I get it, this guy's the missing Mario brother!"

  • "Either that or he's the original Prince of Persia." LOL

  • BOND SMASH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • English Guy!

  • "I get it! This guy's the missing Mario brother!"

    XD

  • "Bond Smash!" is going to sooo be my newest catch phrase. I think that should be the tagline for the next Bond movie.

  • Hmmm. Hulk or Casino Royale. Which one was more eye-gougingly bad? Hmmm....

  • Didn't see Hulk (don't intend to either) so I'm going with this.

  • These scenes are ridiculous! One of my peeves about movies is people jumping off of buildings without breaking their legs, back, or other body parts.

  • Kinda like Halo2 and 3.

  • When stupid scenes like this come on, I tend to play a game of 'spot-the-stunt-guy'

  • It's really amusing when they use a stunt person with a different build or height than the main character. ^__^

  • Parkour: look into it.

  • I especially like the parkour sequences where they use plenty of air mattresses, springboards and stunt doubles. Oh and lots of retakes. And CGI. And bad writing.

  • Do you know who Sebastien Foucan is? But maybe using him wasn't enough for a hard-core expert like you. Maybe you expected Craig to do his own stunts parkour sequences without retakes, safety devices or other artifices? Maybe you wanted the cobra Foucan runs over not to be defanged..

  • LOL ..the irony. Maybe instead of posting a long string of comments about this 'big, stupid film', you should invest in something more worthy of your vast intellect.

  • Lol,, the "Prince of Persia" and "Bond Smash" were jokes my friends and I came up with when we saw this movie too! ^_^

Ah, Mike and Kevin, how I adore them ^_^

  • I hear he is a woman, so that's not hard. Daniel Craig = The Daniel Craig Face. There's nothing else to him.

  • "because they're making fun of good movies" ?

I think you should rephrase it "because they're making fun of modern movies that I actually know."

Just because 'Casino Royale' is a more recent movie doesn't necessarily make it a better movie.

And with films like this, 'Matrix' and '300' they're really justing riffing on 'Overrated' movies.

  • Yeah. Not that 'Casino Royale' is BAD, I mean, it's pretty good (in my opinion anyway) and perhaps the best Bond movie in the last decade or so, but to be honest, every Bond movie lately's been a mix of overhyped and genuinely anticipated.

  • bond smash!

  • lol that wasnt funny!!!

  • OMG its the matrix!

  • "As Gracefull as Dafy Duck"

  • "either that or hes the original prince of persia" haha

  • i love mst3k I do but sorry rifftax is not as funny

  • I agree, the humor came in MST3k as much from the cheese-y movies as the spoofs.

Plus they had a large team of writers on the show.

Still, the riffs are quite fun. Better then nothing at all

  • It's not funny because they are making fun of good movies.

  • Maybe 4, 5 movies they did were any good. Go ahead, defend Crossroads or Daredevil. Good movies, indeed.

  • Ha ha! Oh, you were serious, right?

  • Nice Sandlot reference!

  • "BOND SMASH!!!"

  • They had a Mario Bros. AND a Prince of Persia reference! Priceless!

  • his nipples are gonna hurt when this is over

  • "Bond Smash" had me crying I was laughing so hard. I had to play the rest of the video twice just to hear it.

  • "ENGLISH GUY!!!"

  • dosent leap as much as he----- ( dont know how to spell that)

  • It's "plummets".

  • thanks ya thats funny

  • Welcome to the most implausible jumping scenes ever!

  • 'Bond SMASH!'

  • Sebastien Foucan...

Third Mario Brother and Original Prince of Persia...

    Awesome...

  • the point is that just because you make fun of a movie doesnt mean that you hate it. watch it again but not in the mindset thet they hate it but listen to the jokes, it is rather funny

for example they do one on the matrix, i liked the matrix but that doesnt mean the comentary wasnt funny

  • Actually if you think about it, a colonic irrigation is good for your body. It cleans out the impacted crap in your colon that can cause disease.

That disease-causing impacted crap is much like the lack of a sense of humor which can cause a permanent sour attitude and inability to lighten up.

RiffTrax is indeed the colonic irrigation - for the soul because there is healing in a good, hearty belly laugh - which RiffTrax often facilitates. :-)

  • I had no freaking ideas movies have fanboys..

I liked this movie too, but why the hell are you so hurt by people making fun of it?

  • Yeah, fuck those guys for doing those things!

  • Bons?

  • Okay, now really, during the time that the entire chase took Bond could have simply taken the elevator down to the ground and waited at the bottom. I mean, come on - all that effort wasted!

  • This vid kicks ass. omg... LOL

  • "Not quite as graceful as Daffy Duck"

    "BOND SMASH!"

    "ENGLISH GUY!"

This movie deserved to be trashed. Thank you for posting this!

  • Definately, Bond Smash, that's what i thought when i saw it, so stupid.

  • I was about to make that exact comment. I said it on the scene for this chase in the comments and got "flamed".

  • So what happened them to working on bad movies?

  • They still do them. Infact, they did Independance Day and The Bourne Identity just recently. ;)

They are doing big hollywood movies because they believe every movie deserves a Rifftrax whether the movie is good or bad. Plus, many people who wanted their favorite movies riffed now have their wish at an affordable rate. I think it's a good idea. Plus, they still do old shitty movies on "The Film Crew" webiste and I believe they are releasing DVDs for them.

  • This DOESN'T count?

  • I actually watched this. It was so incoherent and silly I actually felt flakes peeling from what's left of my brain.

  • if you've seen some of the other videos on youtube of people doing urban stunts. (jumping from buildings to buildings) etc. you'll realize that this chase is very plausible. (Why wouldn't a 00 be highly trained in physical activity.)

  • He'd be highly trained in "physical activity" but I doubt that parkour would really be included.

  • And Bond's MI6 terrorist-assassin-democracy subversion training includes parkour!

  • It'd be funnier if this movie actually sucked.

  • What a coincidence! It does suck! Imagine that.

  • This is about 10x even more over the top the Die Hard 4's acrobatic French bad guy. At least they didn't go overboard and have a... maybe-10-minute chase scene with him like this.

  • Meant to say than.

  • "Bond smash!" hahaha

  • ENGLISH GUY!!!

  • I will never consider Casino Royale to be classic James Bond film. They all have faded away to pop culture and will never be the same.

  • You guys are really...bad.

I've seen your stuff and I would spend a dime your unfunny "riffs".

  • It's a shame your wrong since more people liked it than hated it. I guess they have a sense of humor and you don't.

  • Mike's no Joel. Just a cheap knockoff.

  • You must not have seem Mike when he was on MST3K starting on season 5. He did a good job to me, and a lot of people like his humor and think he is an expert. Heck, he was a writer for the show even when Joel was doing it. ;/

  • Um hello? Joel CREATED the show and wrote most of the material himself. Mike was head writer. (years after the show was created)

  • No, Mike was head writer starting in '89. He wasn't there right at the beginning but pretty soon after.

  • Exactly. Mike was funnier in the theater, Joel was more creative and funnier in the host segments. They both had their strengths and weaknesses. Very different styles of humor in my opinion.

  • a Mike v. Joel debate!?!?!?!?! this totally takes me back.

    thanks guy!!

    AND MIKE IS BETTER.

  • I loved the "BOND SMASH!" line. Absolutely perfect.

  • This just summed up how I felt about the whole Casino Royale pic. It was weird because the whole opening black-and-white scene I thought they had actually done it: made Bond without the cheese but then...well...they made Bond completely unrecognizable and all around silly. I miss the Cheese now...BTW, who cut it?

    Inter arma enim silent leges,

    ATMD

  • English Guy!!!

  • that was funny

  • "Tell me when you think this is getting a little implausible."

  • Great work -- full-on MST3K-caliber riffing. Loved the Prince of Persia reference. :-)

  • "Tell me when you think this is getting a little implausible."

    "BOND SMASH!"

  • lol, I thought the same thing the first time I watched this crap.

  • I never saw Casino Royale (though I meant to), what's the deal with Mr. McJumpy? I mean really.

  • It must be the stupidest chase scene I've ever seen.

  • you're retarded.

  • No. Those who like this stuff are pretty much thick.

  • Yes, they're "pretty much thick" for liking death-defying stunts.

It's THEATER, not REALITY. Loosen up before you get constipated.

  • That reply was deeply felt and thoughtful, o man of the repeating letters. Yes, they are pretty thick for paying to go to trash like this. When will you people realise that "entertainment" isn't the same thing as "switch your brain off and pay up, please?"

  • It might surprise you to learn that you're not the sole arbiter of what "entertainment" is. If someone is entertained by someone doing these stunts, guess what, it's entertainment. Entertainment is subjective. Maybe subjectivity is too vague a concept for you.

  • No, I'm afraid you can't get away with that. Someone can be entertained by snuff films. Does that make them good entertainment? If not, does your 'subjective' enjoyment somehow differentiate? Based on what?

  • That's a strawman. You didn't say "good entertainment", you said "entertainment." Basically, yes, if someone is entertained by a snuff film, it's entertainment. We may find it unhealthy and repugnant but there you have it.

  • Look who's getting technical. So if there's a real difference between good and bad entertainment, the subjective element really isn't all that important. This film, for instance, is bad entertainment.

  • Do they do the "Ba da da DA!" thing at really dull moments like they do in Agent for Harm?

  • Oh, i wish those bitches would shut up with the retarded commentary.

  • then don't watch, them and don't download the commentary dumbass, A duhh

  • Actually, it's pretty good and spot-on with how crappy this movie is.

  • Haha, I kind of wish the Rifftrax crew would go back to doing really crappy movies like before, but though I loved Casino Royale this looks to be very funny. "Bond smash!!"

  • lol some of the movies they do are crappy. like battlefield earth and aeon flux.

  • Yeah, but lately they've been doing mostly pretty decent ones. They did The Matrix and Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory recently. I wish they'd go back to the Roadhouse-caliber stuff.

  • lol whatever they do is still funny

  • Willy Wonka was a horrible film, I wish Tim Burton would not remake older films. Planet of the Apes was a massive let down. Burton is a fantastic film maker and I wish he would not waste his time.

  • you dare to insult battlefield earth...but then again, i do like cheesy sci-fi movies

  • that movie was so dumb...with rifftrax its like one of my 10 though lol

  • I'm sorry. I absolutely loved the book but the movie was terrible.

  • ENGLISH GUY!!!

    LOL!

  • It goes to show you that you can make fun of any film. Thanks Mike and Kevin, keep up the great work!!

  • This scene totally deserved this treatment - the rest of the movie was great, but come on...at 1:08, how does the guy even know what is going to be on the other side of the mini-window? It could be an elevator shaft or the construction-site equivalent of a wood-chipper, for goodness's sake!

  • A wood chipper would be a most excellent death.

I was kind of hoping for a railing kill though. ^^

  • Bond Smash!!!! LMFAO

  • Kevin + Mike + Crappy Bond Movie consisting of nothing but poker and jumping = heaven. Thank you, rifftrax crew.
