well, since Bungie is no longer own my Microsoft. It's possible we may see a sequel. If they do it, I would love Production IG (the same one who did GITS and Halo Legends) to do the animation opening. Also I would love Mary Elizabeth Mcglynn and Atsuko Tanaka (who both voiced Motoko in GITS in English and Japanese) to voice Konoko in the sequel, I like a little nod to GITS in the game. It would be nice to see another western game to get anime adaptation, if Halo can get it, so can Oni.

I wish someone could make a game which plays like Oni did. The game kicked me around in terms of being beat-em-up and shoot-em-up hybridized into the same game. IMO, Konoko is a hotter chick than Motoko.

actually its related to a video game released in 2000 its really good and was rated game of the year in 1999 in some category prerelease and al tho GITS is epic as an anime the game sucked.. alot

@KatrinaCabrera Bungie West was inspired by GitS, in fact, not only is Konoko similar to Motoko. Konoko's boss is similar to Motoko's Boss (Terrance Griffin and Daisuke Amaraki respectively).

Both are kind of bad ass.

Also this isn't an anime but scenes from the intro and outro, done by AIC, art work, concept art and fan work.

On a side note, Dark Horse Comics made a 4 chapter comic about Oni prior to it's release (with permission of both Bungie and Rockstar).

Bungie did something else beyond Oni and Halo, they and Microsoft team up with 5 Japanese animation studio and are doing a Halo anime, titled Halo Legends.

Man I got Oni for PS2 plus find out this game so rare come out year 2000.

I remember play demo on PC but now on 2007 or 2006 don't remember buy Oni on PS2 still works good times. Plus did not beat this oni game yet but someday I will.

Oni is 1 of the 1st games I played and I must say I still play it sometimes after all this years. I only wish that someday ppl would make a online mode of this Game. If they could make 1 for GTA why not 4 Oni. Who is with me :P

I did play it through, i have even downloaded mods for it -_-. Im talking about whats to the right of the red striker. Its not connected to the striker its the iron demon, he never made it to the final game. I think he was in one of the early commercials for the game =/

ahh k guess ur right sorry about that, the "head" of the iron demon looked for me like part of the striker elite armor ^^.....some kinda shield think they used to have that...anyway lets stop arguing, its nice 2 c that ppl still have interrest in that game =)

Konoko has defeated Muro, but the Chrysalis survives. Humanity has a future, but what form will it take? Konoko doesn't have the answers, but thanks to her, at least there's a chance for survival.
