  • I usually just rip them up and throw them in the garbage can, but that costs money because trash bags are not cheap. It adds up after a while.

  • To stop these companies sending you such offers, call them and ask them to take your details off their database and also to stop sending you future offers. That should help and good luck. By the way, shredded paper can be recycled.

  • next time rip the application form and stick it their prepaid envelope along with some unwanted coupons that you get from valpak and mail it.

  • I appreciate your attempt, but those credit card companies are extremely greedy and powerful. They'll just laugh at us! I understand where you're coming from though, I receive non-stop credit card offers too. You should watch the documentary Maxed Out, if you haven't already.

  • It annoys me when credit card companies send me stuff, too. I usually get pre approved mastercards. I just shred them when I get them.

I wonder if one of those petitions would help with anything, like on petitiononline.

  • AND ENOUGH WITH THE FUCKING PHONE CALLS AS WELL.....learning to speak english would help you understand what i mean by FUCK OFF....capatial one can blow me...call center fuck heads

  • One can't see why one would should be so upset about some thing like this; for example if a tree was struck by lightning in the forest and you didn't know about it would you be just as upset?

    .

    Just wondering.

    .

Also, what would one rather do; what would one do with the time gained in minutes per week, were there no unsolicited mail received by your good self?

    .

    Just wondering; thanks for posting.

    Cheers.

    from,

    del-boy.

  • mmm, probably nothing.

  • I saved all of my Capitol One offers for the year 2007. I have 41 in a stack with only a couple of days left this year. I'm going to place their shredded remains in the Postage Paid Envelopes and send them back. I shouldn't have to 'opt out', I should never have been on their mailing list in the first place.

  • Tell us your address on the youtube so we will know not to mail you.

  • its called...... ur getting spammed....

  • when telemarketers call u,u cn ask them for the address in where u cn request to stop sales calls....ask them

  • mc15strums

Im gonna try that those giberish speaking 5 dollar a day indian call centers drive me nuts

  • well here this deal, people give us credit card offers or for better joking turns " make me a credit card offer" it's like, so is there a recepie for it. You can make an apple pie and eat it, it tastes good, but i totally agree with his point. these guys have a recepie for absolutly NOTHING!!!!!!!!!

  • Please save your Business Reply Postage Paid Envelopes from credit card offers. Then Mail the credit companies a brick or other heavy object using their own postage permit. This is a legitamate business reply as long as it goes to the address printed with the permit #

  • Goodluck dude government is backing each company but i support you

  • You can end these credit card offers by calling

1-888-567-8688 which is the number for the consumer reporting agencies. See the PreScreen & Opt-Out Notice under the Terms and Conditions on the back of any one of these offers. I called a few weeks ago to opt out. Now I feel like I saved a tree in addition to a lot of aggravation.

  • Damn credit cards.

  • Maybe everyone could try sending their "literature" back to them...maybe then they would stop.

  • I've tried that.

  • Dit it work? Or did it get sent back to you? If everyone did that and it, at least, got handled again at the post office, maybe the post office would get pissed enough to stop it. ;)

  • Well, it didn't come back to me, but I don't know that it stopped anything.

  • lol great idea, we could start a movement!

  • in germany if your self employed you are basically the most highest nightmare a bank can imagine, your worth nothing! Your dudu, your pippi, sewage water down the canalisation system....hows it with you ?

Ehm ok but i dont get much credit card offers so one thing i cant complain about. But i do often supposedly win in the lottery, i see it as pre manifestation ;)

  • Hahaha... well I think in the US, they basically have enough money to keep hammering anyone and everyone in hopes of just a few catches..like spam e-mail. It justifies it in the end because of the contract you sign and the APR you pay.
