Of all the performances on that night this was the only one I really felt.. I nearly cried. You could tell Annie truly felt for the kids. The video package before this really pulled on your heartstrings so if you cried from just this, you'd have been bawling from the whole thing together.

For anyone that really enjoyed this performance, I hope you get to see this in context with the footage that proceeded the actual performance. Annie went to Africa and visited a young boy who's parents had died and was taking care of his young siblings - it's hinted at in the footage playing in the background during her performance. When seen in it's entirety, the gravity of the pure beauty and heart of this performance is just overwhelming.
