These lie detectors arnt always correct, it just reads your heart rate and other body reactions, so if theres a question and your nervous about it but you answer it correctly it can still come up as false, i reckon that what happend here, and what happens alot on Maury.

And the biggest throw-off of lie detectors is actually sexual arousal, because you sweat and your heart rate changes, the two basic things that a detector looks for, which completely throws off the test when they are asking questions of a sexual nature like "flirtatous text messages."

For example, if a question was "are cows brown?" Well yes some cows are brown but not all of them, so you wouldn't know what to say because you are forced to say either yes or no.
