The game is a waste of your time you shouldn't bother with looking into it. Wakfu was in beta for years the developers were always revamping things for the worse they never knew what they were doing and it showed greatly. Classes are imbalanced and riddled with bugs that are constantly promised to be fixed but never are. The dungeons are a joke its just 1 small room of a couple easy to kills mobs after another 1.2.3 O.o a boss that is simple to kill done.
Future games should look exactly like this. I enjoyed my time with Wakfu, but if a game that looked and played exactly like this trailer came out (with exception to the level select bit. Rather travel there myself), everyone would flood this game's servers en masse.
@ataron1120 I wouldn't put SquareEnix into the sentence..they didn't have a part in the making of the game, they're just a publisher (for the game's NA server)

While it points out some of the game play, it is misguiding... The action is not fast-paced like this, there aren't even traps in the whole game (aside from the ones players can 'cast').. Wow, that was genuinely amazing. While it doesn't motivate me to play the MMO, it is a brilliant approach to publicity, as this video definitely needs spreading.
By making the IDEAS FIRST (like wakfu-stasis, ecology (that is it self a huge problem), 4 nations with complex politics) developers made it 10 times harder to make a good game from Wakfu. Unic game? Yes! Beautiful? Yes! Complex? Pretty complex. Interesting game? Nah.. not so much. I wish Dofus had this map and leveling system..
There is statue in front of Blizzard main office with wrighting on it "GAMEPLAY FIRST". Ankama nide one like that two. They are amasing developers but theu are wasting SO MANY TIME AND MONEY on irrelevat nhings. When I see that ankama focus is not gameplay but some phylosophycal ideas that they trying to make playable, I want to cry.. Such BEAUTIFUL graphics are wasted with the lack of good gameplay.
the story, the artwork and the anime are superb, but the game itself...... :(

Ogrest isn't evil, his backstory is actually very sad. I absolutely love that character. Same goes for Nox, both are REALLY well-made characters.
And this does not show anything about the game. The game wasn't even like this back in Oct 2011.
