  • my 2 dollar knife's serades are just as sharp as that last one

  • 8 bucks works just as well, i got my Rostfrei at an Army surplus store

  • $400 knife cuts as well as a $20 knife???? Dude, you're destroying your sales position.

I sell Frost Cutlery knives that shave hairs off my arms out of the box for $10 a piece.

  • @wingmanalive arm hair shaving is easy to accomplish, if you run your blade on the bottom of a coffee mug for a few minutes you can do it. not much of a fuckin' feat

  • Do more of these!!

  • Fuck you Jeff you fucking suck at life!!!!

  • this shit makes me nervous. Cool though!

  • the ghetto paper shredder

  • Is 440 stainless steel a lower grade steel or is it more of a mid range steal?

  • @xXBallistic82Xx IT DEPENDS THERE IS 440C which is great 440v (s60v) which is amazing and 440 a which kinda sucks...but if you get a Chinese knife that is just stamped 440 stainless it probably sucks

  • just tried this with my sharpest knife, and well.. it failed in epic preportions. how do you get this type of edge ?!!!

  • i have a kershaw et and i must say i find those the sharpesst serrations i've ever seen ( no experience with cold steel tough ) but i figured out kershaw has 2 types of serrations , and these are the kind of round chisel style ... but extremly sharp ! if u take a paper and litteraly push not cut , but push the knife verticaly down to the paper it cuts , awesome stuff !

  • hey, this may sound like a noob question, but what type of knife is that? where you can flick it open like that

  • i thought these kind of knives (the butterfly knives) were illegal ?

  • @wtf123456789100 Depends entirely on where you live. Over here in England Balisongs are illegal, as are any gravity knives, locking knives, any blades over 3 inches. Some states in the US have similar laws, others far more liberal. Check out your local laws before you carry in public.

  • it is a U.S7 stainless steel off hand production blade is 21 gauge titanium alloy blade. Short lock mechanism with thumb/finger flick open handle. Don't quote me on this but I'm pretty sure that it is a very good knife and a good collection item. Nice knife.

  • Nice job, sir.

  • where can i get a CRNT M18-02? if i still can

  • no bm42????

  • u almost cut your finger 7 times. i watch closely :P

  • weirdo

  • touche

  • Can you show how to sharpen swiss army knives using basic home utilities

  • use a ceramic rod?

  • Good folders. A mite small for EDC though. Or maybe that's just me.

  • Comment removed

  • wierdly, what i find most interesting, is the way each blade varys the cut.

  • dude that is helluh sick lol.

if u think about it imagine the damage killers could do wit hthat ... eww..

knifes are really cool though. mmy dad collects tehm and my unce collects swards

  • nice job

  • Holy shit! 400 dollars O_O

  • Dose paper dull your blade ?

  • yes and quite quickly if you do alot of paper cuttign or cardboard...

  • @cutlerylover thats probably why you only did a few passes

  • @cutlerylover oh i never knew that.. ... say i did 4 or 5 cutting tests with a new knife would it effect the factory edge

  • it depends on the steel and how crappy you are at sharpening. i chopped 2 days worth of wood and gutted 23 rabbits chopping through bone and it still took the hair off my arm

  • dude, that BM32 is scary sharp

  • and so is the vaquero!

  • that serrated one is a beast.

  • imagine what that last knife could do to someone

  • could you make a vid about sharpening serrated edges? or have you already?

  • i hand sharpen my swiss and i can cut the hair on my arm and not like 1 in every 12 hairs where the blade touches there is no hair

  • he never talked about jewish people..

anyway, those are gggrreeaatt knives!! i wish i had a colection like you..

i only have about a dozen, but not a quality like yours! those balisongs are crazy too, i like how you flick it out. Im a penspinner (i think u know what that is) so thats kool

    Great vid. -GhillieNova

  • your right the steel on the crkt is aus-8 sweet video

  • Holy crap dude, im so freakin pumped! Just ordered my Morpho.

  • Awesome video, like usual.

  • i have the first one and the second one i would never get for 400

  • the steel for the vaquero line is VG-1

  • wow i skip a lot of your videos LOL now i watch them all

  • i like the first knife

  • its a butterfly knife

  • I LOVE the Chris Reeve Sebenza. Its just a beatiful knife. I guess you cant flick the blade open?

  • Chris doesnt recomend it because the blade lockign up hard liek that adds wear...but even if I wanted to I ened to add soem wrist to it...I just dont use mine like that, lol us knife guys love to flick our knives out thats why they make the strider, lol...

  • I really like your reviews. those blades look sharp as hell.

  • Wen Euch Diese Video Langweilt Satz Kopieren!

  • rofl wtf

  • It means Speak English you gay jew.

  • I know

  • No it doesn't. It means "Speaking english, your homosexual jew"

  • Riiiiiight.

  • why u talking shit about jews, cuz i will kick ur gay fuck shit ass

  • Are you jewish?!

  • no but my bestfriend is so chill with the racist-ness

  • When the fuck did he even say anything about jews u fucking homophobic peice of fucking cat shit. Go die.

  • not u ghandja u idiot he was talking racist stuff on other things ur dumshit

  • i swear if you talk shit about jews again I will personally kill you myself

  • lets just be nice to Ghandja, he has no friends so take pity on him...even though he is a dumbass

  • wow your right, i am dating a jew....and i love tacos

  • cutlerylover, why do u keep this up here.

  • that last one would be the god among steak knives

  • Hi,

I own a Morpho myself and I carried it as EDC for some months. D2 is a very nice steel. It's a bit hard to sharpen but it holds an edge *very* long :) However, the blade on my Morpho began to rust (occasional small stains on the blade, not too big). CPM-D2 is my favorite steel right now :)

    REgards,

    Julian

  • i heard that d2 will chip alot easier than most steels though, have you had any trouble with that?

  • lol you can really tell you enjoy using your knives and that your comfirtable with them i like that any suggestions on a sharpener

  • I want one soo bad lol.

  • sure d2 will rust, but it holds a much better edge than the average stainless.

  • average being the ley word, haha thats why people love VG-10 and S30V so much, best of both worlds!

  • and the last one looks awesome

  • haha if you though that was coo, watch ym others video balisong fun - aerials, just search cutlerylover aerial...

  • it was cool when you flipped the first knife

  • i might just be intalented and a overall screwup, but i can never get my kershaw leek to cut through paper like that at all, and i have heard its supposed to have a great factory edge. is it my fault?

  • Well there IS a way of slicing paper...I mean a super sharp knife will slice it easily in almost any direction but just a regular shap knife you want to use an angle to slide it, just watch what I am doign closely...also there are put cuts where your usign the same spot on the blade all the way through the cut...

  • then you have slicing where im usign the whole edge of the blade to cut, slicing is MUCh easier...just try to on different angle and different speeds always moving the whole edge across the paper...the thinner the paper the harder it will be to do, if you use thin cardboard almost any half sharp knife cna do it, lol but as you get thin its more difficult...

  • oh, ok ill try that

  • on your next vid can u say joey is awesome

  • lol...I guess your Joey huh? Myabe if I do a video for you in the future...

  • Real nice job CL. That freakin' Vaquero rocks for cutting. The Sebenza sure is a great knife too.

  • Thanks, yeah I use to own the vaquero grande back in the day, but it was just TOO big, lol...didn't stop me from getting a X2 voyager recently though, but its more for novelty than an EDC, lol...

p.s. I enjoy your reviews very much, thanks for taking the time to make them!

  • i got a cheaper 32 dollar knife and i love how sharp it is its a kershaw storm

  • The storm is a nice cheaper model, as well as the Kershaw Vapors...and their simple "linerlock" models...

  • haha, thats how ALOT of people feel, well the same knife without the inserts costs $330 if that helps? Anyway they are really worth it, but its not for everyone...There are people who like knives, then there are people who LOVE knives...

  • Sigh..

I hate asking this but can you make a knife sharpining video? Ur awsim1!!!!!!one!!!!

  • Thanks, I already have a few videos on sharpenign systems...But I mgiht make a video on using a regular stone down the road, for now check out the others ones though, I hope they help, I have videos on the edgepro apex system and the spyderco sharpmaker...As well as showing soem cheaper solutions to sharpening...

  • Hey Jeff, could you make a video on knives that would be good to take camping with that are folders? I go camping alot cause im a boy scout and we're not able to carry fixed blades.

  • Well just about any knife I own woudl be ok for camping, the only criterea I ahve for a camp folder is a good lock...If your lookign for somethgin cheap look at my Opinel video...Just search "opinel" and you will se it...

  • he also did a video on the sodbuster ive never had one but i know that my uncle used to skin rabits w/ them when he was a kid and he liked them but im not telling u to go by just one persons opinion though but just trying to help

  • u cant carry fixed blade in american scouts???? cmon im canadian and i carry a 15 incher

  • I know it's lame... If we can't carry when when camping/hiking where the hell are you going to learn about fixed blades in as a kid!

  • what most kids'll do is we take them and basically make it concealed. i always have my bushcraft knife when camping hiking and sometimes canoeing.

  • ya but my point is that it shouldnt be concealed, you should be able to carry it, i carry like 5 knives at camp, a ka-bar, a frost mora, and then a swiss army, multi tool, and a folder (i switch it around alot) and i use them for different things, like chopping wood, carving, preparing food. i dont see why in the forest, you cant carry a blade, that is the best place to carry one

  • i have the same exact feelings.

  • on what point

  • hey i have another video request could you do a reveiw of your crkt m18 02?

  • Sure...Ill add it to my request list...

  • that medium vaquero knife is realy god

  • Yeah...Alot of serrated blades cut like that when they are new, its just that with that ine, its held its edge a bit longer than normal...When I say normal, I am comparing to other serrated knives I have owned...

  • Spiders are fricken tight, but maybe you should try throwing knives/daggers? just to go a little different with them.

  • I have ibn the past when I was younger but nothgin serious, I think most kids who like knives love to throw them, lol...I just never got really into it...

  • whoa those knives are really sharp

  • yup, lol, I like to keep all ym knives nice and sharp at all times, he ones I use anyway, the sharper a knife is the safer it is...its true, lol...

  • I'm really surprised with the serrated cold steel. I've never seen a serrated cut like that. Nice vid.

  • Yeah, actually any good serration will cut liek that, the problem is that most people are use to cheaper knives that do not have good serrations, also ojnce a serration gets dull most people can't sharpen them properly so they never cut like that again...Spyderco also have a Sweet serration pattern!

  • nice knifes do u have any spider cos

  • Not right now...I have owned my fair share of them in the past but just don't currently have any...

  • brilliant vid man :p luvin the serated blade on the vaquero

  • Yeah, I am not a huge fan of serrations, but that one is nice...I use to have the huige vaquero grnade, purely for fun factor, lol, never really "needed" that big blade, hahaha

  • love all your vids man they really helped me out in my knife selection thanks for all and keep up good vids

  • Thanks, I am really happy to hear that!

  • hey man my friend is a fan of your videos too

  • cool! I appreciate it!

  • hey how much is that last one?

  • The Cold Steel medium size Vaquero sells on average for $50, but they make a HUGE version of that knife thats like $70, thats is a BEAST!!! google vaquero grande!

  • lol thanks and nice video
