iv been watching these guys for years!!!always loved them! especially last weekend wen they broke the wr with i think it was a 7.14.with there rb30.was freaken nuts!!..uz should try doin sumthing with lower specs.if any1 in this country could it would be use!! theres a honda in the states doing 8s with a 2L fwd 4cyl n/a.k20a engine, think its the dvs civic ... uz should try doin sumthing like that.like i said, if any1 can itl be r.i.p.s!!!!!

@Littlemac181 The motor in the 240z did 2 full seasons at 1300-1400hp then untouched went into a dragster and ran low 7s for another full season, it was then checked, found to be mint, did rings and bearings only, did another full season and won the NZ championship. Only maintainence throughout that whole time was 2 oil changes and a set of spark plugs.

I know this sounds stupid but except for power and displacement whats the difference between the RB26 and RB30 in terms of responsiveness, driveability etc, whats better for track racing, not drag.

@mukers Alot of guys are going with the RB30 for track due to the extra torque and responsivness, especially when it has been shown that the 30s are very reliable at 8000-9000 no problem at all. Personally I'd use a 30 for track without question.

a v160 is the 6 speed tranny for tt supras. and if your planning on holding that much power ur probley gunna need that or a buit auto tranny. an r154 is a strong tranny to.. thats what i run in my 1jz mk3 for a dd, but lik i said a v160 will hold 1000+ hp.

@silviasr20det I will not argue, And i peaceful agree with you, my point is GTR has its purpose just rite what its name saying, made for circuit racing.The RB26dett(built with AWD) is designed to give a quick acceleration/responds. 2JZ-GTE (Supra) not made to circuit and there Engine give a Top End touch. Don't get me wrong im just talking in stock. The GTR's 26dDETT will be fast with out the AWD, but won't be fast enough as 2JZ-GTE's Top End. get me?(if the come to there own game).
