  • I don't know if there is a stronger word of the RESPECT for Tori's talent!! I deeply admire her....

  • she never plays any song the same way twice...that's what I love about her. This version is so haunting and fantastic! She looks beautiful. Fuck all you jealous fat English-Lit majors!

  • nice live version, but i can't watch it b/c she has terrible eye wonk and frozen botox forehead. ugh.

  • Kissing like raindrops

    Every note

    A heart string

    Undefined

Maybe in time I'll find her

    And unwind this rusty string...

  • Best Tori Amos song since Toast?

  • Beautiful voice !...Thanks for sharing.

  • Lovely. One of her better songs from recent years.

  • You know I wouldn't mind if she released a double album full as possible with pure piano versions of some of her recent songs (or even older songs like Spark). It would be interesting because in many ways they can be better. The album version are still amazing though

  • @Yetaxa Do you mean pure piano versions with or without vocals?

  • she's awsome!!!and she's very very beautiful and talented artist!!!<3

  • When she came to Brisbane, Australia last year, I saw her do this live and wondered why she did it the way she did on AATS.... I think this is much more poignant and true.

  • Amazingly beautiful!!!

  • Live always the better than album...

  • wonderful song and performance

  • A wonderful voice, I love singing to her music, Ever since 'Boys from Pele' and 'Little Earthquakes', a piano and her voice is so sweet,...

  • I prefer the album version of this song. I appreciate her band-sound as much as the solo style. Abnormally Attracted to Sin has become my favorite album of hers since Earthquakes.

  • I must say; i really like her songs the best when they're only with her voice and the piano. Some of the songs are just complete with a whole band, but most of the songs not, i think.

  • I love both version of her songs with the band or solo on piano. It's like the songs are wearing different outfits. And Matt Chamberlain and Jon Evans are awesome musicians...

  • love the song better live. i must admit i am relieved to see her natural hair. she doesn't need all those wigs!

  • Unbeatable song and version

  • This is such a good performance. Her eyes look beautiful too.

  • okay the problem is her songs were originally confessional, and thats what works best for her.

  • Bella canzone e buona musica, bravissima Tori Amos!!

  • Wasn't much of a fan of this song before I heard this version tonight. I love how rich and deep the Bose sounds...she has the most wonderful piano, ever!

  • oh, how I want the piano sheets of this (version of this) song :(

  • Shes doing it her way. I enjoy seeing her alone on stage. She has grown, again!

    Lady In Blue.

    Tragic song, somehow...

  • wonderful song. why couldn't she record it exactly that way for the album...but still brilliant

  • I agree, for me, the band or overproduction or something is ruining everything on the albumns now...this is gorgeous, as is, &, also IMO, sooo much better than anything off of ADP...can't anybody convince her to just ditch the band?

  • so sexy!:P

  • If only she gave piano lessons...! I would die to attend one of them:P!

  • There was a competition a few years ago - where someone could win a piano lesson with Tori. Alas like most of her competitions we never ever heard what happened to them. Same with the Giant Billboard made up of people's pics holding Tori albums. Or the signed Piano Key.

  • Or the ADP concert DVD.

Which she even said she hasn't even begun yet.

    AMAZING song and performance though!

  • Yea I often wonder what happened with the picture dealio....I sent one in! :)

  • Yep, same here!

And also - let's not forget 'Taxivision' - it really didn't go anywhere - there were like 3 good videos and the other 3 were crap. There was a winner chosen but the video never became the official video. Different to the competition Bjork had for fans to do a video for her video for Innocence. The runners up ended up partaking in the video for 'Dull Flame of Desire' and all of them are on the new 'Voltaic' CD/DVD pack?

Can anyone think of any other 'failed competitions'??

  • Well I remember there being some poetry contest and Tori would pick her fav.....never followed up on who won or if it even happened!

  • Wow! Don't remember that one! We should all march on Cornwall to demand winners! ;)

  • It was Bjork's Innocence song, not Dull Flame of Desire.

  • That's what I said - and the 'runners up' got to do 1/3 of the DFoD clip each.

  • "i wronged the right man." simply amazing.

  • my favorite song from this album.

  • Finaly, a page with only good posts about the absolute best musician and song writer in history.

  • Yes, my thoughts exactly!

  • @DistressPatterns Site's or Page's with "good" posts are rare indeed?

    About time indeed!

    And a great musician,

More than 10 years now I have love her Music!

  • Beautiful. Much better than the album version.

  • I agree completely.

  • @04jhowarth totally agree!!:)

  • @04jhowarth I agree, I wish so bad that the album version sounded this good!

  • It's so beautiful that it's tragic...

  • Simply brilliant.

  • 4:40 is the best!

  • why has this woman not won a grammy! she is amazing. this song is one of her best

  • Because the people who give out Grammy have their heads shoved way up their bums!!!!!! lol She IS amazing and maybe they will someday get it together and show her some respect!

  • AWESOME! Tori is fantastic!!!!!!!
