You are so good! I'm learning this song. Sometimes I'll listen to you and follow with the sheet music to make sure I'm doing it right. I was wandering on the first page (measure nine) on the top it says "tr". I think it's tremolo but not for sure...

@horsepianofreak5 Yes, the "tr" is for "trill", which means to quickly alternate between that F and the G just above it. Glad my video is helpful... Just don't miss that critical A-natural at measure 83 (2:00) like I did! :)

It probably sounds familiar because of the bass line. Jon says this evolved from an improvisation of Billy Joel's "Piano Man", which also uses this bass line that has been used by about 10,000 other songs, some of which were probably used in movies.

Jon Schmidt lagaudet . I can play most of this just the last few seconds and the bit between 2:14 and 2:25 . It's a great song and quite eas to play the first 3/4 pages .

Cool! Do you like yours? I've found that just after a year of pounding Schmidt out of it the key actions loosened up or something and now they rattle a little. I guess that's better than breaking strings though. :)

yep, it happens with all digital pianos , my keys have loosened slightly but mainly the black notes

Learning it for a week and you play it that good ! . That pattern you do with your hand for a few seconds at 2:50 is amazing , keep on rewinding the video to see it again . Been impressed by all of your videos , especially 'North Pole Express' . Can't get enough of that song , any word on it yet . Thanks! I know First Run but I didn't make a video yet. I've played through Can't Help Falling in Love several times but it's not memorized at all and needs a lot of work. I also know Bells of Freedom, I Saw Three Ships, Dumb Song and a few others that are at the same stage as Can't Help Falling in Love.
