i've had many spiders (tarantulas) in me time, goliaths, east african horned baboons, common orange rumps & used to display them at various shows etc... i also had the burmese colbalt blue... out of all of the specimens i owned, i found the blue to be the most aggressive & lightning fast.... never used to hastle with this one after i had a few pints.... charlie

Beginner species refer to species that can be handle, easiness of care, not too highly venomous and rather docile. It doesn't have to do with breeding as Brachypelma and Grammostola species can be difficult because of the female's aggression

I recently bought one of these. I have a young female. She loves to burrow. But if you wake her or disturb her abitat get your reflexes on high. I call her grim. She is extremely fast and has a nasty temper. But she is young and will mellow out with age. This spider is not for new owners. You must be very careful with because she is higly paranoid.
