anybody who can surface (new) GFR vids is great...Historic Value should be the concept, not the commercial (ie, TN) aspect of it....
So Terry, be a MAN, vote, POSITIVE, and do accept certain vids/perormances to get tot the online world...for HISTORIC reasons, not commercial reasons...
I've been a Grand Funk fan ever since I heard their first Live Album, at my cousins house in 1971! Thanks for bringing back the memories, and hopefully their taped performance at Shea, will soon see daylight!
I was at this concert, it was awesome. 55,000 at Shea. Humble Pie was the first act. Wow the good old days. I was in High School in NY. Saw a concert every weekend!!
this is history, my friends...Terry Knight was great at making them successfu...Shea Stadium was the highest point of their career, GFR was the top hard rock group in U.S.
Well, I'm not all alone in this world of video research... My close friend FUNKMAN from Copenhagen, Denmark helps me out and of course, I do the same. He's a veteran GFR / Farner fan and the second 'Grand' video collector I know. Quess, who's the first... ??? o:) o:) o:)
I wish they would release the Shea Stadium show.

Awesome historical footage - what I would have given to have been there. Kind of like Woodstock :-) Thanks for posting John!

JohninFunk,
I don't know what the expression would be there in the country of Greece, but, here in America we say; YOUR THE MAN!
Unbelievable video footage! And your serving it up to a very hungry Rock audience...we are eating it up!!!
Bless your heart for sharing...I'm sending this everywhere I can!
Much LOVE to you Sir!

All these video's will re-connect vintage Funk fans with their favorite band...plus,it generate new fans for Mark and the original players of GFR!
Salute to you and FunkMan! Thank you for not being driven by greed and selling this footage instead of sharing!
