Shoo sheah, they are! Wizo is so awesome! This song is as well! I thank mein Vetter for introducing me. I am an American (though not proud to be) fan of Wizo's! And unlike most people, I pronounce it correctly. As Vizo. Not Wiz-oh. Have you ever heard people make that mistake?

Yeah wizo's awesome... but can you see my house in Indiana from your pedestal? Most of us American's have superb values, and we are a culture that reveres work. Our society awards hard work, and good ideas (for now) We're one of the most tolerant people on the planet... and all this we share with the world... so look up from CNN or MSNBC or whatever you're watching and tell me which part of being American you're ashamed of?

oh give me a fucking break, I just moved from california where I grew up, I had front row seats to the twisted mother fuckers in hollywood, who promote an unbalancing of political correctness, and would still make you feel like a piece of shit just because you're white, me and many friends experienced racism from minorities, but we never treated them as such EVER alls the gay I knew were incredibly nice people so that's moot. it FORCES us to BUY insurance, it's not opitional, it's not free. It's intervensionalism, it's socialism, and it has already made insurances premiums for americans skyrocket. but I give less of a fuck about healthcare, and more of a fuck that the EU on the verge of federalization, and China applying supply-side economics, and the morphing of the US government into national government (as opposed to federal) all point to one thing ..bye checks 'n balances

@MsRetteMich I did spend 4 Months in southeast german (the kaiserslautern area) so I do have some first hand experience about the difference in our lifestyles, and yeah I'll talk to you about it sometime, but I have an awful headache atm. btw, not a big samy fan, FerrisMC rules though ^^

@MsRetteMich yep, another teenager who thinks that college is the real world, and has never dealt with a government that does not have checks and balances. Democracy would be the worst form of government except for all the others. Ours just happens to be the most successful because of the freedoms we are allowed. if you think Germany is so great just look at some of the protest and how they were put down or what your right is to religion.

I mean, it's the people that are not allowing homosexual marriages. They are the ones voting in conservative pricks. And there are no laws restricting minority races.. Once again it's the people. It's society. We've gotten better since where we were in the middle of the 20th century. Back then, blacks/interracial marriage was the equivalent of homosexuality today, if not worse.

For instance, I tolerate homosexuals to do as they want to so long as they don't affect myself or my family and have that equally protected under the law, which they do. But I don't accept their behavior and I never will accept their behavior. There is a galaxy of difference between the two.

@xk5 America is only a small step up from them, and there's actually a reason i respect the middle east more than america. The middle east is progressing quickly. An example would be how the riots in egypt are quickly stirring up dissent in the rest of the muslim world. America, particularly in the southern states, is going backwards. A recent law in i think Texas has now allowed the police to arrest anyone who looks suspicious of being an illegal Mexican immigrant.

a) they Christian population is lower that average
b) most of the white christians here are completely tolerant of others, even me, an atheist
c) there are a shitload of atheists here
d) most importantly, gay bashing takes on a whole new meaning. we go out, find the most obnoxious homophobe around, and criticize his views in groups until he either sides with us or shuts the fuck up. They have no strength in numbers.
