First time I heard of it, was from a colleague of mine in my part-time job in a warehouse many years ago in year 2000. He would usually sing it to me (well since I am Chinese) and asked me if I know about this song. Told me Mills brother doesn't really use instrument instead prefer singing acapela.

Few years later when playing Mafia, I found this song.

In GTA its hard to die , and the police will try kill you every time you just simply hit their car.

In mafia there are tickets. If you hit their car, they will only give you a ticket.

After some tickets they will try to catch you, and they will try to shoot you only if you attack them.
