He wants to do everything w/her: "I'm gonna take a plane/Get off the plane/Take a bus/Get off the bus/Promenade down South St. till I feel alright" is pure bliss,abandons conformity. Van getting to nitty gritty: "Here we are think its about time/I can't resist here and now/ I just want to lie my feet on a river bed instead/Can't wait any longer for the sign/I want to get down some solid time". The outro tempo keeps ascending, as the band rocks the tight groove. This one should get u dancing!

A rollicking song starting w/chorus in 4/4 time, it melds perfectly into a sweeping Country Waltz in 6/8 time. Van, in the early stages of a relationship, is longing and excited: "Here I am riding on a train/Just a thunder ball down the line/Just can't wait any longer/See that little darling of mine". The passion for his woman grows as the song progresses: "She's my Texas sweetheart/Part from Arkansas/And we're dancing across the floor/And a band was playing/People were swayin', to and fro".
