Technically, the earth is falling into his orbit in some extremely minute way that is not even visible to us. I mean, even the most distant object in the universe is revolving around a speck of dust floating across your room, but because the gravitational interaction falls of at such an exponential rate, it's just the smallest degree of influence greater than zero.
