That mule did NOT want to jump. He was exhitbiting nervous behavior. He was def trained by force. I have also owned horses all my life, and never once has one of them even chosen to jump in the horse trailer by themselves, much less a giant ramp that ends in mid air!!! No way that mule wanted to do it, no way.

like i told 20mrcasper they dont train them. they do this at there own will. if the horse or mule spooks of the tower then they dont make them jump. way back in the older days people would stand at the top of the tower and the horse would be wearing a harness. the horse would run to the top and wouldnt stop. as the horse gets to the top, the rider jumps on there back. there for the rider and horse in air, diving into water. no force here, the horses find it quite fun.

@countryppl1 I`ve been around horses all my life and as of yet to meet one that has willingly climbed to a great hight and thrown themselves into water ! Once they are on the way up there is no way back as there is no room for them to turn around . To say they find it fun is quite frankly ridiculous !

I saw a program about this same "cruelty" on the boardwalk. The biggest problem the owners had was keeping the mules from doing it when no one was around, they had to put a gate at the top to keep them stop. I don't remember it being cruel when I use to jump off a diving board. Yes, Texans are hicks, god fearing, hard working, productive, family oriented hicks.
