I would have loved to be at this show or at wacken 2007 but without vortex and mustis it just isnt the same. I don't care that they have moved on and are trying new things. Dimmu is getting softer as the years pass but as you age you cant be as aggressive. I guess it just comes with the ticket. They will still be my number one favorite band XD

In regards to the bad crowd. This is Ozzfest main stage. The people who buy those seats are wealthy people who come to see Iron Maiden and Sabbath. Ozzfest sucks for this reason. Most of the good bands play the second stage with far more crowd interaction.

@JaeTizzle I totally agree.. i actually paid the money to get the pit for 1st stage and i was right at the fence up and center for 2004 ozzfest @ the ford amphitheater in tampa and it was great but second stage was AMAZING. second stage is all about no labels, no seating just everybody together!! People were cheering loudly, but when the song was playing most people were just watching and doing nothing else.

I went to this Ozzfest. First and last one I went to, because it's the only one that was truly worthwhile overall. It was the only place you could see the reunited Judas Priest. That was my main reason for attending. But when you have BLS, Dimmu, Slayer, Priest and Sabbath all playing back to back, that's just too much to pass up. All the other Ozzfests have been a mixed bag, pretty much, but this one they got right. It was magical.

I don't think they quite suck ass yet, but Abrahabra was a step in the wrong direction. "Gateways", "Chess with the Abyss", and "Renewal are still good songs though. I personally think D.C.A. and I.D. are their best (everything after they got out of underground is good though). In addition, Slipknot doesn't deserve that kind of flack. All Hope Is Gone was a great improvement for them and Im happy they survived their basist dying. Well, now I guess it's time for the fanboys to attack this comment

IMO Dimmu peaked with DCA. It's a masterful album. EDT is probably my second favorite then followed by the all powerful PEM. im not saying they're bad now but i miss that raw, less produced sound. That and Vortex had a awesome stage presence.
