  • Pure romance...the way music was fashioned...

  • 比較的好意をもてる、ロッド・スチュワートのアメリカン・ソングブック3集、ハーt、ロジャースのこの"ロマンティックじゃない?"が大好きだヨ!この声はしみたネ #jazzm

  • SONGS MAKE HUMANITY IMMORTAL

  • 1932'S SONG THAT LIVE ON....

  • sabrina for ever

  • This is a wondeful song despite Hot Rod Swewart ruining it.

  • Beautiful song!!!!

  • Rod Stewart should gargle or get rid of any growths in his throat or stop smoking. Or whatever gives his voice that terrible sound.

Goes to show you that the sheeple will buy into any gimmick from a lousy singer.

  • @Glinkaism1 , you have absolutely no knowledge of what you're talking about

  • @paulbarraza You prove my point as a example of a sheep that will buy into this dud. :)

lern2 yewz the inglish gut btw. :)

  • @Glinkaism1 again , not making sense!

  • Rod Stewart was just meant for romantic ballad singing! Oh yeah he can slay a rock song but he is just the double edge sword and croons like nobodies business!

  • Another Most Beautiful Song by Rod. Rod has such a great personality, charm and charisma, he so hot!!! :)

  • not only romantic - it's really fantastic...!!

  • i really like this song, so sweet!

    I am a fan more now !

  • BEAUTIFUL< UR NOT DAT ROMANTIC B4xxxxxxxxxxxxluv this song

  • If there ever was a "white' version or a reincarnation of Nat King Cole, it has to be Rod Stewart! I say this with the utmost respect for Nat King Cole & Rod Stewart. Simply amazing!

  • They don't write songs like this anymore!

  • Whos sing this song on the end of the movie The Out of Towners?????

  • Yes, Rod Stewart doesn't have the greatest voice - but he is sincere, Isn't it Romantic is gorgeous, sung with the rarely heard verse, and a beautiful arrangement. And, if his albums popularize The Great American Songbook, then isn't that enough?

  • @MJWny

    My thoughts exactly.

Rod Stewart and "Isn't It Romantic" first struck me as an odd couple.

But he approaches it with utter sincerity and wins one over.

And as you said, he is on the side of the angels by helping keep the standards of the GAS alive.

    I say "thumbs up."

  • I dunno why this appeals to me, but it does. RS has a scratchy, croaky voice which he's probably ruined over the years, yet he is still in pitch. So who am I to say? It just sounds so right and I can listen all day.

  • I hate to be negative but he simply cannot do justice to a song like this. Great singer in his own field, he really should stick to what his voice, range and delivery are suited to. No harm in trying something new, I guess, but this is a miss for me.

  • wonderful rod
