I think this is the part the storyline is turning real dumb in more than a few ways. Regardless of how Raynow would feel about the "UED" helping the Zergs to completele loose after battling them in the first part even a retarded kid would prefer suicide and human control over covering his own agenda with cost of helping the Infested Kerrigan.

It's just a game, yeah. Still bugs the hell out of me.

Raynor placed himself under the assumption that Kerrigan was still good. He had no way of knowing she would betray them by the 5th mission.

I think that Artanis had to kill Aldaris. In his eyes, Aldaris had betrayed them and was still holding grudges against the Zerg. They didn't know though, that Aldaris knew exactly what Kerrigan was up to and tried to stop her.

@Keep701 well they (Artanis & Zeratul) didn't want to kill him they wanted to spare him he refused to ally himself with them then Queen Bitch arrived and shut his mouth then "ALLIANCE" was officially over and well the other reasons why Jim & Fenix never got the full details was perhaps also because of an insane Dark Templar & some Terran Mercenaries who for a short timebeing could control a Cerebrate
