The K5HLL Is on the ES44AC. Some CSX ES44AC's have K5HL's. Although Most Have K5HLL. Most BNSF ES44AC's have K5HL ANd the newer BNSF ES44ac's Have K5HLL's. Also BNSF ES44DC's AND The newer ES44C4's Have the K5HLL.

Thanks!!! I really suggest starting with an AC4400. some of the grills on the dash 9 are incorrect and also the battery boxes on the breakmans side of the cab are not correct on an es44dc. Anyways good luck on your project!! Sweet!

Digitrax makes a s[pecial programmer for it. its called the PR3 and its specifically for programming digitrax sound decoders.
