@BreachedWall What other Final Fantasy's have you played? The only reason I compared it to XII so much was because it was the 2nd most recent and it's hard to pick one entry to compare it to since there are 13 main entries.

I've completed I, II, VII, VIII, IX, X and XII from the main series, Tactics: WotL, Crisis Core and Dissidia as well. If I had to rank them in order:
1. IX
2. X and XII
3. Tactics and VII
4. VIII
5. Dissidia and Crisis core
6. I and II
I loved them all but IX is clearly my favourite.
And yeah, I understand the reason you chose that comparison. I'm just a bit tired of all the XII hate - it's so unpopular!

PS3 is better in this case. FFXIII Was originally supposed to be a PS3 exclusive. ALWAYS go with the original console, not the port.
