  • Same nose car 2012

  • the alonso renault sound its different of fisechella's renault sound..

  • Kimi Raikkonen 40 laps of fuel in that car with that best Quali lap I've ever seen!

  • 1. Aryton Senna

    2. Kimi Raikkonen

    3. Micheal Schumacher

  • Raikkonen is so amazing!

  • HALF A SECOND !!!! :)

  • Commentator : Now then, Mr. Raikkonen, what can you do?

Mr. Raikkonen : a 1:13:644.. "THE LAP OF THE YEAR"

What a Legend ! What a gifted talent ! The Best in Formula 1 !!!!!!!!

  • This is what you get from a motivated Kimi.

I hope he can do well this year, but the car will probably be a piece of junk. That doesn't really matter. He's won in pieces of junk before (see: Spa 2009).

  • Alonso is a sissy

  • now mr. räikkönen what can you do? and than he nail it half a second... awesome

  • everybody was like Alonso is so fast!!!, then Raikkonen comes in and goes half a second quicker than him like a BOSS!!! Everyone was probably like: ' how did he do that...?!'.

  • These cars look more modern than 2012 cars

  • So much better seeing half a second being smashed than a tenth like these days.

  • @hochild Lol so you like when they are less close together?

  • @snviper Well because you can see Raikkonen's lap was a heap better than alonso

  • @hochild Sure but I think closer racing is always more exciting whether in racing or in qualifying. The occasional total slap on the cheek by being half a second quicker can be nice too though. :)

I hope the 2012 field is close together and we'll see lots of different race winners.

  • Que filha da puta, tirou 400 milesimos do segundo e 1 segundo do terceiro... pqp, fudido!

  • best team mates.....ALONSO N KIMI

  • i miss does days when michael was in ferrari n kimi in mclaren n alonso was in A WINNING RENAULT....does dyas were awesome renault like suck n red bull from nowhere is now the best car....haha

  • shame they weren't driving the same car. Shame the mclaren was so much faster. Based on the past two seasons it's easy to see who would have been fastaest if they were teammates...ALONSO! FORZA ALONSO 2012!

  • @xflynskywlkr23 Yeah its easy to say that faster is KIMI. GO RÄIKKÖNEN! The last ferrari champion will make the lotus win too!

  • He is incredible, GO KIMI!!

  • I LOVED THESE CARS V1O THE TIRES THE DOWNFORCE,,,,BERNIE BRING THESE CRS BACK 2004-2005 FASTEST AND QUICKEST...

  • This is how F1 should've remained!

  • This is why single lap qualifying was just better

  • 10 dislike = Alonso fan, 573 like= Rikkönen fan :)

  • Have fun in 2012 Grosjean

  • hats down mister raikkonen

  • The only thing McLaren was missing that year was reliability. Man, I miss that engine sound.

  • Once Raikkonen gets away from lotus and gets a better ride Alonso can be expecting these types of ass kickings regularly

  • @LBigJake14 lol massa kicked kimi's ass in 2008 and 2009 yet alonso DESTROYED massa the past two seasons. It's obvious to anyone who isn't a complete fanboy on who the better driver is. Kimi wouldn't have a prayer against alonso if they were teammates.

  • @xflynskywlkr23 And yet it's Kimi who is the latest Ferrari world champ....not Massa, not Falonso....and only champions will be remembered....well except Falonso will be remembered from his constant whining at team-radio ("this is ridicilous", "I give up") and as bad looser (shows middle-finger to Petrov, after loosing the championship, and failing to overtake him...like he expects every1 to let him pass like Felipe did in Germany 2010....what a pathetic driver)

  • @Balnazzardi What a surprise, you come out on another video to repeat your nonsense. Pseudo-fans like yourself may remember Alonso for such insignificant things, interpreted in a convenient wrong manner, but true F1 fans who are not blinded by ignorance can see who is who on track. I guess you're too stuck up in the ass to appreciate the talents of both Kimi and Alonso.

  • @hristoitchov Well I cannot have ANY respect for driver like Alonso, who will always be rememberd for Singapore 2008 crashgate and Germany 2010 team-order, and all the lying afterwards

  • @Balnazzardi Your still crying? lol Nobody cares that kimi was the last ferrari champ except you kimi widows. Bottom line is Alonso 2 X WDC, Kimi 1 X.

Come back and talk when he's matched that ;)

  • @xflynskywlkr23 If you had watched 2003 and 2005 season, you would know better....Martin Whitmarsh himself has said that Mclaren's unreliability was the reason why Kimi is not triple world champion now (and Falonso only 1)....but ofcourse this is a fact you totally ignore.

And I bet atleast Ferrari fans are those who care, since Kimi's replacement has failed to do what was expected from him....Kimi won the champ on his first year at Ferrari, Falonso lost, chew on that :P

  • @Balnazzardi You think anyone cares? LOL Nobody cares but YOU! lol If you had any clue you'd know most ferrari fans have already moved on and are happy with alonso at the helm. Your slanderish comments only succeed in making you look like a sore loser but hey, it looks good on you;)

  • @xflynskywlkr23 Why do I even try to talk to you....oh and I see you are from Canada, why I am not suprised....I quess all the Canadians really are dicks then, cause they seems to be the ones, Im always having arguments on YT.....go figure...

  • @xflynskywlkr23 see how massa end up now???? fail to deliver when drive the car specified for Alonso.....at least kimi won 1 wdc.....and if not bcoz of unreliable car and wrong pit strategy in 2008...he would hv fight for the title...like chris dyer said....the team failed kimi but he nvr failed the team...in 2009 it was kimi who saved ferrari from embarassment.......

  • @xflynskywlkr23 kimi won a wdc by driving Massa 's car~!! A strong front end that clearly doesnt suit kimi at all....not to mention they modified the tyre for Massa ....couple with exhaust problem in last few lap of france when he was leading ....but finish 2nd eventually due to car problem....car retirement on pole race in europian......and wrong pit strategy in SPA.....spun during last lap of leading~~!! 2008 is an unfortunate year for kimi...watch the race and you know it!!

  • @chanyiwei I won't argue that kimi was a bit unlucky in 2008. I have nothing against kimi. I was a fan of his while he was at ferrari and i remain a fan to this day. My hatred lies with Balnazzardini who seems to feel kimi's boot from ferrari was alonso's fault. Well that is just bullshit. I have nothing against kimi. It will be nice to see him back and i hope he does well this year.

  • they should bring back single lap qualifying....its much more suspenseful and plus the drivers who have the excuse of traffic

  • @EnnesX On the other hand, what if it starts to rain halfway through the session or the session starts on a wet track and it dries up through out the session?

I agree on the single lap qualifying, but you have to give them the same track conditions.

Was this the reason Single Lap Qualifying was changed to the Knock-out format?

  • Kimi clearly was the true champion of 2005.

  • @saatana4 so that alonso won?

  • @JuliVioJuliVio Mercedes-Benz gave Alonso his 2005 championship

  • the last year of the V10 engine ... damn i miss that incredible sound !!!

  • I want this old qualifying system back..

  • Ayrton-who? My god whan an lap!!!! >:O

  • THE ICEMAN COMETH!

  • ice man is the best

  • yes ¡¡¡¡ he is Back ¡¡¡¡

  • The running order in 'superpole' was determined by the times set in FP3. The fastest in FP3 ran last in the superpole shootout.

I prefer the current qually format by a mile. You get far more running for one thing and it gives drivers multiple chances.

  • He put 1,2S to Montoya... that's sick, not even Vettel atm.

It was a a shame, Kimi lose 3 world championships because of that fail MCLaren's engine... and wings... and brakes... it tole 5 years for Ron to admit how fragile the car was :/

  • Raikkonen is running over the limit here. Just absolutely flat out. He always wring every gram of speed out of the car. Beyond belief amazing.

  • anyway, though the disadvantages of this qualifying system, I prefered this old one. It's more spectecular and you can pay your whole attention to the driver who's on the track... Thumbs up if you agree! ;)

  • How did they determine who ran at what moment back in 2005?

  • @dekster14LP depending on where each driver finished the previous race. Driver who finished last in round 1, starts first in Round 2 quali.

  • @kedharf1 apparently then, Mark Webber won his first race in the previous race. LOL!

  • @kedharf1 Lap of the year? Go watch Raikkonens qualifying lap at Monza 2005 with gearbox issues and about ten laps more fuel.

  • @kedharf1

What about the first race of the season?

  • @pufflescpbw the previous year standings

  • @pufflescpbw @kedharf1: not the previous year standings. It was the finishing order at Brazil, the last race of the 2004 season.

  • My god that merc V10 sounded good...

  • what year, looks like 2005

  • @FPSyorkshire description

  • HALF A SECOND, BUDDY!HALF A SECOND PER JUST ONE SINGLE LAP!

  • BOSS.

  • in today's f1, getting 500ths a second down on a sector is considered high, this is up to 4 tenths!

  • the iceman's finally back!!!

  • That was a really fast lap

  • that finn can fly finish! :)

  • best looking mclaren ever..

  • @noname86 Best looking Renault ever, too.

  • @noname86 besides Sennas!

  • @noname86 If only Adrian Newey had built McLarens that were as fast AND reliable as the 2011 Red Bull :P

  • Also; Kimi, V10's, and silver and black McLarens. All of them need to make a return to F1.

  • 'This is superlative lap' Is that even proper english?

  • @terkmadugga yes

  • @terkmadugga Try looking superlative up in the dictionary. There's your answer.

  • I really miss this type of qualiyfing sessions. The FIA finally found an exciting new format that really worked and that fortuned the brave and the skilled, drivers only having one chance to set his time. It was super-exciting if you ask me.

And then they change it after only a few seasons! A most stupid descision. I don't enjoy this Q1-3 stuff. Bring back the one lap shoot outs or the free 60-minute/12 laps sessions.

I know people said that it was boring with empty tracks at times, but please

  • damn!

  • If THIS Kimi returns this season, we are in for a treat. Although.. Unsure how good the Renault is going to be.

  • @LeJimster Better than willams ....

  • all hail the return of the iceman

  • KIMI SUCKS!!!!! .|. YOU KIMI

  • @TheGtrosado WHAT?! He don't sucks, you sucks!

  • @HMJogMDG KIMI WAS CHAMPION 1 TIME BECAUSE HAMILTON CRASHED AND ALONSO WAS 2 TIMES CHAMPION

    WHO´S BETTER??????

  • @TheGtrosado Both of them.

  • @TheGtrosado your way of judging who better are completely stupid...stop claiming urself as F1 fans....disgrace really

  • Back then the rules were you had to start the race with the fuel load you did your Q1 run on?

  • @GentleAris it was single lap qualifying that year

  • Formula 1> Nascar

  • Thums up‼ If you had expected Kimi and Alonso era after Shumi retire 2007~, and if you expect Kim and Alonso era(like Senna Prost) in 2012~.

  • @zepiti1 Sacazem?

  • 3:10 My reaction when I watched this live - "YESS HAHA! Take that you Spanish Basterd!"

  • @SebbyHaughtonf1 That's a good reaction.

  • V10 sings!

  • Alonso, Raïkkönen is faster than you.

  • @PhoenixAmbient KiMi.... , ALonso its World champion in 2005..and he have 2 championship.. ;)

  • @clio2fast great, you fucked up the joke...

  • Better was the Q2, when Fernando decrease the gap into +0.091 or like that. But also the tyres was too soft and in race was overtook by the two Williams. Anyway, he took 5 important points.

  • Legend Kimi, so glad your returning. 6 World champions on the grid next year and Raikkonen should have won this 2005 title as well as 2007. Hopefully Lotus/Renault will be reasonably competitive in 2012 and we can see some magic from him.

  • The ownage begins at 1:56

  • What a great year 2005 was. Everything was perfect: the cars, the drivers, the battles, the races!

  • @ivesdeblieck

    not the luck...

  • Stig with a green jumper on at 0.06 lolz

  • Fastasfuck!

  • WELCOME BACK ICEMAN!

  • Bring back the epic-ness in 2012 Iceman!

  • I miss V10 :(

  • And it never amuses me to see how brainless people are and say that Hamilton is the best driver now after what they've seen this season lol. Button is and always will be better driver than Hamilton if only Mclaren allows him to be.

  • I don't know how things are but if Kubica will come back and fill Grosjean's place it's gonna be really hard year for kimi coz Kubica is one of the best drivers ever seen in f1 just like kimi, but i doubt Kubica will come back actually.

Anyway it's a good thing to have Kimi back finally, he's not behaving like some superstar wannabe Hamilton, Kimi said from the start that he came to F1 to race not to make himself famous and i admire him for that.

  • Alonso and Raikkönen, the best drivers in the world. Buuu Vettel!

  • @NandoAlonso2011 lol you are wrong. Vettel and Hamilton are the best drivers now. Raikkonen hasn't been in F1 for a couple of years, it will take a while for him to get back into it.

  • @NottinghamForest22 Oh I think Kimi and Fernando are the best too, we'll see what Kimi will do in 2012 and Fernando didn't have a very good car this year and he showed great things! And I think Vettel without redbull and his team's support, he would be much less impressive! Oh but I don't say he is'nt strong, but for me he's not a Kimi or Fernando ;) (sorry for my english)

  • Alonslow

  • OMG!! I miss these times so bad!

  • Kimi=Boss

  • Alonso could put that finger in his ass, arrogant son of a bitch. Raikonnen was the champion that year in my eyes.

  • @DutchieKev Toi ferme là! Alonso le meilleur ;)

  • @MaudF1 That is why i think french people are just as arrogant as Alonso, they never have the respect here to reply in English but only in their own languege so that the other can't read it. Should i do that too?

I think I didn't have to make an effort for you vvho offend Alonso like this! Bye ;)

  • @MaudF1 LOLOLOLOL go fuck yourself and your stupid country

  • @DutchieKev Blasé va! Tu n'es rien qu'un jaloux! Traiter F.Alonso et la France, tout ce qu'il y a de mieux quoi ahah! Va planter tes tulipes héhé ;)

  • @MaudF1 Thank god for google translate. Our plants and flowers bring up lots of money, just like out transports:) What does france have? wine, cheese and snails as food, bhleeeeh. And again that arrogance, saying Turkey have done genocides against the Armenian people, but what did the French against the Algerian people and in lots of other colonial country's like Vietnam? yes, killing and genocides.

  • @DutchieKev Ah you want to make a competition between France and Netherland! I knew it, you started to offend my country! Ah but you know I don't have problem with your country it's you ahah! But very sincerely and objectively there is'nt comparative! Your insistence on being critical of France shows your jealousy, because we talk about F1 at the start, I don't understand your arguments lol! And it's not your problem concerning Turkey even mine! It's french parliament which voted this! That's it

  • @MaudF1 Tell me my french friend, what is their to be jalous about? The people are selfish and arrogant, i know that because i was in france a couple of times. When you ask for directions they act like they don't understand you, but when french people are in holland they talk french to me, yeah right! France invaded lots of country, but pissed their pants when the germans came in their country and surrendered like cowards. And you always get fucked for a lot of money by the police...

  • @DutchieKev A lot of things! Just because you speak about my country in first when I was talking about Alonso! So without reason! You describe a France I don't know but I'm here ahah! You can criticize my country! But I won't make the same with yours! I went in Amsterdam even not 2 weeks ago and I have nothing bad to say about even if I could criticize things which aren't our customs as too drogs and prostitution but I haven't same mentality! And you you allow insult all, you can give lessons!

  • @MaudF1 But nevertheless, you can't help that. You were just born there. On topic for Alonso again, he's arrogant yes. Look at his attitude, for example last years final race what he did to Petrov.. ow gosh i can't win so it's your foult, what a bad loser! He is a good racer but no champion, he only won 2 championchips because the Renault was by far the best car.

  • @DutchieKev LoL that's why I hate Petrov! He made nothing all along the year but he make F1 just to block Alonso and nothing more in his life! You can think it's arrogant but instead of Alonso you would do maybe the same no? I know he say easily a lot of his emotions like Hamilton but I think he isn't worse than others! And 2 times worldchampion it's not nothing! It haven't comparative with Vettel with his Red bull, in 2005, Kimi was near with a quick Maclaren! Too in 2006 with Schumi

  • @MaudF1 I do not agree that Petrov was blocking, they were racing for a position and Petrov increased distance in some laps so Alonso can't blame him. Alonso had to take more risk to pass him there but he dindn't do it, so then he has to face the facts. You were right about Kimi, if he haven't got such a bad luck he would be the champion in 2005. We all know the car is 75% of the championship:) But anyhow you're a calm guy (or girl:P) and i'm starting to respect you.

  • @DutchieKev Ok good ;) I'm a "calm" girl ;)

I agree but it's normal he's angry Fernando for this! It was a worldchampionship and it was so important for him above all he hadn't best car! That's why I love him! He makes more, like Kimi too! I know it was above all ferrari's fault because of strategy and he made finaly a little bit Petrov responsible but it does'nt make him a bad driver for me ;)

Sorry if I make fault :/ Bye ;)

  • @MaudF1 hehe calm girl:P i saw you are 20, i'm 21:) would like to see a pic of you:D you interest me now even more.

  • Kimi has getting easy year with Romain Grosjean.

  • @MrTalotaikurit Grosjean is a good driver, i think he is able to fight Kimi.

  • This was a fantastic quali by Kimi no doubt. But my favorite quali moment of Kimi's was later that season at Monza where he was facing a ten grid penalty so the team filled the car completely with fuel for a one stopper strategy. Kimi still went out with a full tank and put the thing on pole.

  • @jc790 Just shows how dominant the mp4-20 was relative to the R25 which makes alonsos wdc even more impressive.

  • @aieljose

The MP4-20 was no doubt a faster car than the Renault R25 in 2005. But the reliability of the Mclaren suffered in a number of races, costing Kimi the title in 05. F1 Racing Magazine even ran a story on Kimi's 05 season, fastest car fastest driver but the Renault was fast, reliable, and had an aamzing driver.

  • @jc790 Agreed. Overall id say both cars were pretty even. The mclaren was quicker but the r25 made for it's lack of pace with bullet proof reliability. Both drivers drove well but to me alonso drove better but im biased ;)

  • @jc790 How'd he end up doing in the race? If you remember.

  • Kimi is amazing, the fastest driver on earth! Kimi 2012!

  • I'm so glad that Raikkonen is comming back to F1!!!

  • Raikkonen,Alonso one team:AMAZING !

  • Haha, the funny thing is James and Martin were saying how good Alonso's lap was, then Raikkonen pulls that out the bag and goes half a second quicker. Brilliant lap, and the 2005 title should have been his, if only that beast of a McLaren had been more reliable because it was such a quick car. Welcome back to F1 to the Iceman!

  • i really miss the sound and the cars of 2005 until 2008

the sound is incredible !!!! icant watch anymore f1

  • If you ever see someone saying that Raikkonen was rubbish and overrated, show them this.

  • WELCOME BACK KIMI, WE MISSED YOU SO HARD

  • Do you hear this Bernie??

  • first qualifying no raikkonen this lap is pole

  • yes but vettel is red bull and raikkonen is mclaren and mclaren is v10 and red bull is v8

  • God, the MP4-20 was an absolute monster of a car.

  • @unwicked91 I think Kimi have said it was the best car he has ever driven....if only it had been more reliable, Kimi would have totally beat Falonso's ass, there is no question about it.

  • @Balnazzardi True, he really mastered that season.

  • am vettel fan ,but well who dont like kimi returning to F1 :D

  • Comment removed

  • i need new words to describe KIMI , really Alonso is a very good driver but if i see these times then its like KIMI is driving against Sutil or ...

  • I loved the old McLaren livery.

  • 294,1 km/h

  • Comment removed

  • that was f1!!!

  • the last year os West Mclaren era.

  • Fernando, Kimi is faster than you. Can you confirm that?

  • If that stupid mclaren was a bit more reliable in those years Kimi could be a 3 times world champion before he was kicked out of F1 by Ferrari.

  • @DutchieKev If your a kimi fan then you will be happy to know he's likely to replace Barrachello at Williams next year

  • @09rob12341 Thank you, i'm not a die hard fan but i think Kimi was a great talent that had not the chance to succeed because of a unreliable car. But i don't think returning to f1 by williams is a great option.
