What a treasure Edith Evans is! What a better world we would have, if we all had an Aunt Augusta in the family! Sadly in today's world she is a rarity.
beautiful rendition of lady bracknell. both edith evans and wendy hiller have wonderful renditions of this highly interesting and hilarious character.
No-one could ever top Dame Edith Evans's performance her; in fact the whole cast is just perfect. Anything with the great Margaret Rutherford is worth watching :)
"Gwendolyn, what does this mean?"
Well, Lady B, looks to me like they're snogging up a storm. Just my opinion, though.

Lady Bracknell and Gwendyloon must have insane hairdressers. They look like Mobile Topiaries.

"He has nothing and looks everything. What more can one desire?" Oscar Wilde could write a great story. We need that more than better CGI in movies.

I have to be Lady Bracknell in my Drama groups play, unfortunately I lack many of her satired features, ridiculous drag/verging on overweight/age
Have watched this about 3 times now...gosh..that voice is just amazing..
