Guys, read Social Corporatism. How about the idea of a socially responsible capitalism? Externality costs should be born by those who caused it. This guy seems very underinformed on corporations and small businesses. How about 80% of the US' food supplies being dominated by 4 major corporations, small businesses and suppliers being bullied and eventually swallowed up by those businesses who have too much power from their ability to fund highly paid lobyists. More like trickle down to politicians
@TubersAndPotatoes thats becuz of liberal policies and government corruption, those major corporations bought there way into congress and the white house, and influenced the government to push laws that would stamp out competitors, in a true free market the people ultimately decide whats produced, people WANTED hybrid/electric cars, but the government stamped it out, and people lost interest
@BrettJRipley I would definitly love a pure libertarian system, however any purist system is not practical and is very quixotic. For example, a pure socialist system such as communism is supposed to achieve an egalitarian-utopian society, but from history we've seen the failures. There will always bee corruption in governments because of greedy career politicans. I want a balance in economic growth and social welfare. Incentives push people to create and innovate, which capitalism facilitates.
@keithradamsstatus Yeah, Libertarianism = Anarchism. Small, limited governement is equivalent to no government at all. Yeah, you're not ignorant at all.
more socialist countries in western europe are doing good.
for instance holland, germany and france are economically strong and socially people are 'free'. They are paying a higher tax-ratio, but everyone is making a solid/really good salary. maybe us wants to be economically more free, but they should worry a little bit more about their stupid social rules!
@elzinga87 Pleeease do a little more research as to the economic situation of western european countries. Im from Denmark, for example, and anybody with an ounce of economic understanding knows that the policies that have been pursued here for the past decades are entirely unsustainable. It is projected that by 2020, 2/3 of danish adults will be on some type of government handout.
@puffyDK Im from Holland and I just got my phd. economics. So I can refer my knowledge of economics to that.
I am sorry, but please before you are gonna try to discuss these kind of things, try to understand that you have to study hard to have a little bit knowledge about the economical situation in the world. So first, please study hard in stead of research a little bit stuff on internet or something.
@elzinga87 1. I was wrong in assuming that you were another american who had watched too many bad michael moore docs. I apologize. 2. How on earth can you be a european citizen...studying economics..and then come to the conclusion that the socialist countries in western europe are "doing good"? Makes me think you were a little too quick in getting that phd at 24...congratulations though.
@puffyDK 1; no prob. 2; also no prob. but i talked about 'a lot of western european countries' - are still doing great! i was not talking about greece, ireland and portugal tho, witch government didnt do their homework. now you tell me; witch other countries in western europe are doing 'not good' and please describe; 'not good' ( in other then; have to pay a lot of taxes)..... thanks, and i was not to quick, 3 published articles in economy plus :)
@elzinga87 Good for you and congrats again. 1. The countries in europe who have high unemployment and unsustainable debt to GDP ratio ar greece, portugal, ireland, spain, italy. These are important because they are, along with the countries you say are doing well, part of the eurozone. Problem1 : how will the bankruptcy of just one of these countries affect the eurozone? problem2 : what is the consequence of having real interest rates at "close to zero" for years as we have had in the eurozone?
@puffyDK and because they are part of the eurozone, they'll be saved.
what the effects are, that the 'normal citizens' of the countries that are helping these (these; when you assume that there will be more countries then greece that will fall, what a very small chance is) bankrupt countries, will pay more taxes, to their own government that will spread that money out to th/is(ese) bankrupt one(s).
so for the people who dont want to pay more taxes its a problem i guess. not for europe itself
@elzinga87 Do you see the Moral Hazard in what you have just written? Countries can now rely on other countries to tax its citizens and send the money to the country with bad finances..do you think that encourages politicians to pursue healthy finances?? I sure dont... the potential collapse that this sets up is far greater than the one it is attempting to avoid...not to mention the inflation that results from setting up these huge "rescue funds"
@puffyDK and ofcourse the leaders of the countries are screaming that its a BIG issue, because otherwise the citizens of the countries who have to pay more taxes for countries who will be bankrupt, will not support these measures of higher taxes.the 'normal' people just doesnt seem to understand that everything will be driven into the right direction. just accept the higher taxes and payments and wait and see. everything is gonna be alright in europe. Usa has got a problem of larger scale tho
@elzinga87 Well I guess we just fundamentally disagree on what direction these bailouts will drive the eurozone then. I believe Moral Hazard will drive other nations to pursue an irresponsible monetary policy and then look to the eurozone fund to bail them out...but hey, I might be wrong. Thats just what i see as the most likely scenario. At least we can't say we lived through an uneventful period in economic history :)
And yes, the USA have similar problems on a much much larger scale. Agreed!
@BrettJRipley isnt it the usa 2008 government that put europe in this situation? its all about no government control on the mortgage loans that the banks gave to people that were not able to pay it. So the system ultimately collapsed. that was under the bush government. Banks were getting in trouble now because after all this happened; the government finally thought they should handle, witch had its effect on wallstreet, witch ofcourse also had its effect on the eu-economy.
@BrettJRipley I dont think all these countries here are voting for a more conservative government. Greece is bankrupt now and had a very conservative government, so i dont think thats the right way to do it brett, i m sorry.. ;)
big military hardly equals big govt. not in this country anyways. the military doesn't inject itself in people's lives. it doesn't regulatr people's businesses. it doesn't divvy out healthcare. the only thing it does that effects the economy is use resources and spends money.
Reagan kicked the Drug War into full force. I definitely do not consider him to be a libertarian!
Shouldn't libertarianism be about liberty, freedom, egalitarianism? If you aren't hurting anyone, do your own thing?
Legalize gay marriage, legalize pot etc.
But instead libertarianism is used to argue against taxing the rich? Corporations haven't been innocent! They currupt government and get away with horrible deeds because they are rich!
Im from Norway, which is a socialistic run country. I pay abpiy 70% of all I earn to the goverment, and we have 2/3 of the people able to work on social / health care systems, Im drowning in papers when I try to establish my own little firm!
I remember the good old american dream, but now your guys economy is screwed up, to much government!
I just hope Ron Paul get elected and take USA back to what it ones was, and opens the borders for people like me, willing to work and invest. good luck!
Actually no, in a free market capitalist economy bigger companies are self-regulated by a large market due to competition. It is only in big government corporatism or governments using keynesian economics where monopolies are created. Governments subsidize businesses causing them to trample over small businesses creating multi-national corporations. THAT is NOT capitalism.
at 6:00 this guy sounds retarded. when he starts talking about how capitalism is all small businesses, he doesn't seem to understand that bigger companies will always come out on top in a capitalist system, merely because they have better means of production and can offer products at a much cheaper price. if a big ass home depot moves into down, i dont think good ol' pa's 2 employee hardware store is gonna last very long.
@BrianMagnumFilms theres a hardware store down the street from me with 2 employees, theyve been in business for 30 years, so you wanna say that again?
@mttorresca Do you want to know why? Because he refuses to admit that he lies. He is like the bully who throws a stone at a little boy and cracks his skull open. THEN he claims he didn't touch the boy. Well, TECHNICALLY he may be telling the truth, but it sort of misses the point now doesn't it.
Telling only part of the story is still a lie. Especially since Mr. Moore also has the ability to edit his film.
You are fooling no one. Moore PURPOSELY lies in his films.
@ToddAldrich Fair enough, i hear ya. can u point out any specific lie, distortion, or something that you consider dishonest, which he has shown in one of his documentaries? just so i can understand better where you're coming from
@mttorresca There's a group of attorneys who are offering somewhere around 50 G's to anyone who can prove there is a law to pay federal income tax, so far no one has claimed. As in Aaron Russo's documentary with the IRS, they could not quote a law either. As it stands, it's like protection money to a Government Mafia, you pay, they leave you alone.
Notice how she always asks a question with a bratty little smirk on her face... I love how calm and collected he stays. She said things very politely cutting. If this had been about a film called "I love the Left", clearly, she wouldn't have been able to stop singing his praises. Instead, anytime he answers a question that doesn't paint a great picture of socialism or her cut, paste and edited facts, she quickly changes the subject with a bratty undertone and smirk. How annoying.
Libertarianism will not work for the same reason that Communism didn't work--you won't get everyone to agree to it. The balance of power between corporations and government must be carefully maintained to increase real prosperity, not just prosperity for those who run corporations or the government. However, it must also be maintained because tipping the balance can lead into actual Libertarian or Communist policy, which poisons economies in a world that is not all Libertarian or all Communist.
I'm sorry to say this but capitalism will never fall because people love $ so much that people will be crazy enough to kill a newborn baby for the cash. Is that movie they mentioned on DVD? Because I want to buy it.
What are you on about? European countries are bankrupt. Greece is just the start. The standard of living is 30% lower in Europe than in the United States. High taxes and handouts do not produce prosperity. Free people and free markets do.
@Munic92 and you also have 60% taxes. I left Ireland to get away from it. 17% VAT (sales tax) Massive taxes on your gas prices, its not the true price of the gas, its the taxes. 7% of salary for health care. It all sounds good, but in every step you mention of good things, there is a price to pay. If you are on vacation, then someone has to cover the person not attending work. So that cost is passed on to the customer in the product. So yeh great....
@extremeeXrement1 Niether and it's not a battle of socialism or capitalism because we have a fascistic state ran by banks and corporations not ran by the free market aka capitalism which works alongside with corporations not hand in hand like what we have.
"Individualism and Statism..... and no anarchy is not part of Individualism because a mob is not an Individual."
Yeah, im going to go ahead and say you don't have any concept of what your talking about. If you were to adopt your crazy political spectrum, anarchy is as far on the left (towards individualism), as you can go. And modern democracies are right leaning (towards statism).
Upon re-reading my response to, "anarchy is not (a) part of individualism", I thought I should further add this is one example, of why your political spectrum doesn't work. Some anarchists are collectivists, some anarchists are individualists. And theres no room in this limited spectrum, for an anarchist that believes in collectivism.
So to conclude, no you don't know the difference between socialism and communism. Im sure you heard some right wing commentator spew ignorant, hyberbolic bullshit, just like all political commentators these days (the left being no exeption). Given the general arrogant attitude of your previous posts, inspite of your clear ignorance, I think its particularly important for me to advise you to learn, before making condesending remarks.
And I think its should be additionally noted, Obama isn't even a socialist, never mind a communist. If he was the later, he would of dissolved the legislative branch, instead of allowing the republicans (the minority party at the time) to delay the health care bill, just so that he could appeal to some of their critisisms. Despite the fact he could of pushed it right through, like george bush often did. Obama is still less liberal than most democratic countries conservatives.
But they believe that capitalism must be guided by a centralized planning system, to combat monopolies, the potential for oligarchy, and to decrease the class gap. Socialism, seeks to distribute the goods produced, according to an individuals productiveness. Opposed to distribution according to their needs (communism), or the prestige of their career.(capitalism).
Reagan is an exciting man. He and Ollie North used the CIA to make illegal arms deals and imported cocaine into the USA to help support the Contras in Nicaragua. He helped start the crack epidemic in the 1980s. I am sure he learned a lot from "real life".
Reagan with his trickle down theory, his borrowing extensively and his economic advisor Arthur Laffer have all been discredited and shown to have weakened our country.
.
Even Arthur Laffer now admits that it was a mistake yet this filmmaker wants us to believe that Reagan did right.
.
He would be advised to read history and maybe an economics book.
If Lincoln was correct that government BY, FOR and OF the PEOPLE is a rebirth of freedom. If the Constitution is correct that government IS the people serving all the people then THAT is what the Republicans fear the most. THEY want government existing for large corporations and the rich and the middle class and the poor be damned, must like Dickensian England. I worked for the sixth largest US corporation that paid NO TAXES AT ALL in the last four out of five years. ENRON CORP
"People paint slavery as a sort of blood-sucking vampire but the fact is in some countries where it sort of operated, slaves had enough. They used to get 6 weeks vacation. Is there anything about slavery that you think is valid?" If you have to go to government officials for permission to maintain a piece of property as you see fit, you don't own that property. When that piece of property is your own body in a government-run health system, you are a slave. You are owned by the government.
Just as the September 11th hijackers had absolutely no interest in learning how to land airplanes--they learned only what was necessary to guide aircraft toward optimal destruction--so too our Alinskyite/Cloward-Piven President has absolutely no interest in guiding capitalist institutions toward economic recovery. He's just as irrationally bent on fundamental destruction of any such enterprises he gets his hands on. He's the Bamster; The Human Wrecking Ball.
It's very interesting that people are blaming the government for the ECONOMIC recession that was caused by the irresponsibility of the banks/multinational corporations. Yes, the bailout did nothing but give money back to the guilty parties, which was completely wrong (although not surprising given American politics). However, this anti-socialist reaction is not actually getting to the fundamental problem here. It's obvious that Ray Griggs has no background in politics or history, just rhetoric...
Instead of talking about cutting social programs, why isn't anyone talking about cutting military spending? These two wars are bleeding America dry. No purpose has been served except to destabilize the region, kill innocent civilians and military personnel, and make private corporations hugely wealthy....and at whose expense? That's right...yours.
@000deadcalm000 add up the cost of another 911. Not enough zeros on your calculator. If one happens now, then see 50% unemployent. Wanna rethink that philosophy then ? As for civlians, its unfortunate, war is hell. But think, japan surrendered because their people were getting killed. Its what also ENDS wars.
I saw it. It's OK. Certainly not great. My politics are libertarian. Reagan should have vetoed a lot more bills than he did. He also (in hindsight) could have spent less on the military (but you never want to be caught "under defending" your country). It's true that we don't have a "free market" economy...we have corporatism, leaning towards fascism. We need to return to the free markets of 100 years ago.
We have crony capitalism where the few managed to setup a completely monopoly over everyone else and the profits of the nation go to the few, while the risk goes to the public!
and there was a "major reversal in the tax treatment of business income", with effect of "reducing the tax bias among types of investment but increasing the average effective tax rate on new investment."
William A. Niskanen, one of the architects of Reaganomics, summarizes the policy as "Reagan delivered on each of his four major policy objectives, although not to the extent that he and his supporters had hoped", and notes that the most substantial change was in the tax code, where the top marginal individual income tax rate fell from 70% to 28%
anyone that uses a tool is a capitalist. if a citizen is working in the government factory sewing clothes he is a capitalist. if the government controls who how and when the capital is being used it is not free market privately owned capitalism but slavery capitalism.
To see my coverage of the Oath Keepers in New Hampshire click my name. Or do a YouTube search for "Oath Keepers Ridley." Then get back in here and watch more RT....
The director of this movie does not really have any education when it comes to economics. I can tell that by hearing him speak. To begin with, Using Regan as a role model for good economics is a BIG JOKE. His economic policies at the time were a disaster.
Had he used individuals who really know stuff about economics and running good business like Warren Buffet, Bill Gates, Donald Trump or even Alan Greenspan this doc would have had real credibility but I am sure they would rather not as they don’t agree with the directors ridiculous views on economics !
The other fact that I have to point out is the emerging economies he (the director) mentions as becoming capitalist.
That is not entirely true. The fact is nations like Russia, China, India and Brazil have all borrowed capitalist ideas and policies and blended them with socialist idea. In other words they are not pure capitalist or socialist economies, In fact they are “MIXED ECONOMIES” and it’s working out really well for them. They have borrowed the best ideas from socialism and Capitalism. I think U.S needs to do the same.
Not all capitalist ideas are good nor are they all bad and same goes for any system in the world including socialism and communist. I think a smart economy in the 21st century should be a mixed economy that is like a hybrid system. It takes the best ideas from each system and blends them to build a super economic power.
The problem I see is with people like the director of this doc who only see things as Black or White. They really don’t get it.
If pure capitalism was so great then we would not be in this economic mess we are in (for over 2 years) the first place. Nor would we have been in the Economic crash which followed the 90’s dot com boom. Pure Capitalism fuels pure greed which always results in a few people making Billions and the vast majority of middle class being wiped out of their incomes and jobs!
How much did Reagan steal from the Social Security Trust Fund? We are ruled by a 'financial aristocracy' every bit as corrupt and venal as the ancient European ones. The media, their propaganda machine, is more powerful than any that went before. But soon, no amount of slick videos and talking heads will be able to hide the truth.
They should have labeled the show 'we interview some ignorant greedy git on how to stop the 99% from getting their fair share in the economy. And how the most greedy 1% are moaning their tits off as to why they cant get even richer'.
He either doesn't know what the hell he is talking about or knows and is a scum bag - I'm guessing its b...
BTW SPARE ME the idiotic constant redefinition of what you want capitalism to be - it starts small becomes big monopolistic - and corrupt! ALWAYS!
what a buffoon.....Regan created more debt than the previous presidents combined, you bonehead! What a true idiot. A Republican worrying about the debt???? Hmmmm....I think W entered office with a surplus.....
There is an easy comparison..... look at how well America did during the Reagan years, and look at how Obama has destroyed America with his socialist, internationalist life long fantasy. He is as anti-American as anyone has ever been.
lol at you americans, you dont get that it isnt socialisms fault your society is going downhill, its because of your enormous CORRUPTION. Even your president is obviously bought by big corporations.
Obama was only 'chosen' by the corporations because although he is probably personally progressive, they knew he was soulless enough to do their bidding. What a fucking disappointment Obama has turned out to be. I wonder if he hears the screams of pain of his victims when he goes to sleep every night. Probably not. Probably sees dollar signs in his vision, instead. Not a good guy, that Obama.
6:59 Has he been to China? I have. You don't need that much money to live comfortably. Bottled beverages in China are in the range of 1~6 Yuan while in America its 14~20 yuan. A meal in China can range from 10~25ish Yuan while in America its 60+Yuan. I wonder if any of these people with 'theories' actually go visit these countries and live there for a couple of months. My swedish friend says her family is doing quite well in the economic system her family is in.
As long as the fed prints money it is the same thing whether Obama or Reagan is in the office. This video misleads the people to the main issue which is the Keynesian capitalism does not make sense and does not work.
The right loves to stamp on Socialism claiming that it's a blood-sucking vampire. However, one of the world's 1000 richest people is the president of Nokia who lives in Socialist Finland. The right is ruled by their emotions and the left has no balls.
If Socialism is the blood-sucking vampire that the right claims it is, how is it that the president of Nokia who lives in Socialist Finland is one of the world's 1000 richest people in the world? The right is ruled by their emotions and the left has NO BALLS!
Today we use both socialism and capitilism . the only problem is the corrupt ones who taint it and make it look evil. Same with religion its a good system untill extremists taint it and make it look evil. The systems are not the problem only the retards we select in office are
1:57 If this movie was right, Reagan would have said: 'I don't want to spread wealth like you Obama, I want to concentrate wealth in a small group of few who have chosen me to be their monkey in the office'.
2:15 Reagan forced Japan to buy american t-bonds so he can finance american private military industrial complex and at the same time cut taxes.
This guy is either paid by "big corporations", or not very smart. He doesn't understand much, and get it all wrong. Reagan, Bush, Obama - they all are working in favor of "big money", and anti-people, anti-american people (after all people are people everywhere).
"Left vs right" is a distraction. More government vs less government is the issue. The government's only duty is to uphold the Constitution. Involuntarily taking from some while giving to others is socialism and socialism is an intusion upon the rights of all Americans and a violation of the Constitution.

victory? the more socialist things get in america, the worse they get. look at china they are more and more capitalist and getting richer and richer. they own america.
this country is fucking over soon anyway. europe is fucked too. all the socialist programs have weighed america down until it collapses.
thanks a lot socialists, you killed the greatest country on earth. may you all starve in the streets, you worthless fucks
@ruffhouse00x thanks- the pugilist tries to be honest.
i read your "about me" section. if you haven't looked into him yet- check out ron paul. his philosophy fits your profile description quite well. anti-war, anti big govt/big business relations, pro-person liberties for everyone.
Seems like one of them republican lites from California, kinda like Schwarzenegger. Those folks are alright, and understandable considering the political environment there. As for republiicans and tea partying vermin from the rest of the country... kill it with fire!
@Unh0lymystic don't you realize communism in china ended with the constitution of 1982? china isn't communist. deng xiaoping knew communism didn't work but he was smart enough to make a smooth transition so that idiots who would put ideology over economy wouldn't protest and cry about it at the PB. one of the biggest example is the Shanghai stock exchange. a stock market and the fact that you sell shares is probably the most anti-communist thing on the planet. you should read more about china...
@Unh0lymystic China communist? Where do you get your information from? The only thing "wrong" with China, is it being a dictatorship, hell it's more capitalist than some of the Western European nations, possibly even Britain.
Incase you didnt know it is still considered a communist state according to the world CIA Factbook. Hu Jintao's party is the Communist Party of China. Do some research before you make yourself look like a jackass. You're utter ignorance is shocking.
@Unh0lymystic What it's classified under has no standing in reality, what their actual policies are, does. Again, China is not communist, it's one simple statement.
The chinese civil war between the Communist and Nationalist parties has never officially ended either, does that mean China and Taiwan are still launching missiles at one another? No. Just because it is stated somewhere that something is in "x" state, it does not mean it is true, now fuck off.
@sirhcskoorb obviously the differences between a caterpillar and and a butterfly vastly out way any similarities. communism and socialism are more like a caterpillar and a maggot. or a moth and a fly.

StAugustine79 7 months ago
at 6:00 this guy sounds retarded. when he starts talking about how capitalism is all small businesses, he doesn't seem to understand that bigger companies will always come out on top in a capitalist system, merely because they have better means of production and can offer products at a much cheaper price. if a big ass home depot moves into down, i dont think good ol' pa's 2 employee hardware store is gonna last very long.

You are fooling no one. Moore PURPOSELY lies in his films.

TimeWarp66 1 year ago 2
@Munic92 and you also have 60% taxes. I left Ireland to get away from it. 17% VAT (sales tax) Massive taxes on your gas prices, its not the true price of the gas, its the taxes. 7% of salary for health care. It all sounds good, but in every step you mention of good things, there is a price to pay. If you are on vacation, then someone has to cover the person not attending work. So that cost is passed on to the customer in the product. So yeh great....

And modern democracies are right leaning (towards statism).
ghostbuddy 1 year ago
@ghostbuddy
Upon re-reading my response to, "anarchy is not (a) part of individualism", I thought I should further add this is one example, of why your political spectrum doesn't work. Some anarchists are collectivists, some anarchists are individualists. And theres no room in this limited spectrum, for an anarchist that believes in collectivism.
ghostbuddy 1 year ago
@ghostbuddy A very simplified spectrum would place anarchy on one end and all official forms of government on the other.
But that is if you accept the idea that a lack of governmental automatically results in what most people think of as anarchy.
The idea is to get as close to anarchy as possible with being sucked in.
The best method anyone has found to achieve this is the framework put in place by the founders of the United States, as it was originally conceived.
sirhcskoorb 1 year ago
So to conclude, no you don't know the difference between socialism and communism. Im sure you heard some right wing commentator spew ignorant, hyberbolic bullshit, just like all political commentators these days (the left being no exeption). Given the general arrogant attitude of your previous posts, inspite of your clear ignorance, I think its particularly important for me to advise you to learn, before making condesending remarks.
ghostbuddy 1 year ago
@ghostbuddy
Obama is still less liberal than most democratic countries conservatives.
ghostbuddy 1 year ago
But they believe that capitalism must be guided by a centralized planning system, to combat monopolies, the potential for oligarchy, and to decrease the class gap. Socialism, seeks to distribute the goods produced, according to an individuals productiveness. Opposed to distribution according to their needs (communism), or the prestige of their career.(capitalism).

The director of this movie does not really have any education when it comes to economics. I can tell that by hearing him speak. To begin with, Using Regan as a role model for good economics is a BIG JOKE. His economic policies at the time were a disaster.
DrLarry2007 1 year ago
Had he used individuals who really know stuff about economics and running good business like Warren Buffet, Bill Gates, Donald Trump or even Alan Greenspan this doc would have had real credibility but I am sure they would rather not as they don’t agree with the directors ridiculous views on economics !
The other fact that I have to point out is the emerging economies he (the director) mentions as becoming capitalist.
DrLarry2007 1 year ago
That is not entirely true. The fact is nations like Russia, China, India and Brazil have all borrowed capitalist ideas and policies and blended them with socialist idea. In other words they are not pure capitalist or socialist economies, In fact they are “MIXED ECONOMIES” and it’s working out really well for them. They have borrowed the best ideas from socialism and Capitalism. I think U.S needs to do the same.
DrLarry2007 1 year ago
Not all capitalist ideas are good nor are they all bad and same goes for any system in the world including socialism and communist. I think a smart economy in the 21st century should be a mixed economy that is like a hybrid system. It takes the best ideas from each system and blends them to build a super economic power.
The problem I see is with people like the director of this doc who only see things as Black or White. They really don’t get it.
DrLarry2007 1 year ago
If pure capitalism was so great then we would not be in this economic mess we are in (for over 2 years) the first place. Nor would we have been in the Economic crash which followed the 90’s dot com boom. Pure Capitalism fuels pure greed which always results in a few people making Billions and the vast majority of middle class being wiped out of their incomes and jobs!

The chinese civil war between the Communist and Nationalist parties has never officially ended either, does that mean China and Taiwan are still launching missiles at one another? No. Just because it is stated somewhere that something is in "x" state, it does not mean it is true, now fuck off.

@MeganANDMiley You realize I was talking to a liberal - pro communist, right?

@lgvereor what is a "pro communist?" i thought conservatives knew the difference between communism and socialism.

@MeganANDMiley We do.
The difference between communism and socialism is equal the difference between a butterfly and a caterpillar.

@sirhcskoorb obviously the differences between a caterpillar and and a butterfly vastly out way any similarities. communism and socialism are more like a caterpillar and a maggot. or a moth and a fly.
