  • 1:30 OMG!!!!!! ITS A EVIL CHAO I MUST HAVE IT!!!!!!!!!!! my second favorite chao is a evil one the first one is a hero.... who else still has there origional sonic adventure 2 battle for the camecube..

  • can i buy some badniks from the website or can u please tell me where i can find sum cuz im tryin 2 make sum sonic stop motion vidz

  • @555mixmaster SonicGear is mostly just a gallery for Sonic items, nothing is sold directly through the site other than modern things in the SonicGear Store. There WERE badnicks produced officially, they were PVC figures released in the UK in the 1990s. (I think Japan may have had some too) You would probably need to try to win them on ebay, because they are so old and out of production.

  • @AzureBlaze You should make Egg Emporium a real site.

  • @555mixmaster Jazwares is relesing some badniks this month!

  • thats awesome details in the background

  • that unknown tails plush is a japan sonic adventure tails plush

  • maybye that golden megabot is the series 2 megabot line megabot

  • tell sonic gear that super poser tails is coming out

  • cool site bro

  • Respond to this video... sonic's ftw

  • this was made by a noob!

  • how much do you want for sonic at 0:14

  • I got a email from jazwares after asking about silver figures. Silver the Hedgehog figures are now sold out.

  • 00:25 Ha! I remember having those as a child!

  • Genial Video espero k Entiendas Español

  • How you make stop-motions?

  • Hiya acat here, I have a local toys r us but the only 3 inch figures they stock is the werehog. Any tips what I can do to get Silver and Shadow? And also I go to Toys R Us within a week of a new figure release but they are always gone even if they were released 2 days ago.

  • I'd say try the toys r us online website store. You'll have to pay shipping, but it's better than driving to the store only to come up empty every time. They're almost always in-stock online, and they don't mark them up, like other online retailers can. You can also call the store and ask for the figures, which always helps to let them know there's demand for Sonic items.

  • A few things. tru is restocking all new figures like amy. She will be release March 31. I also can't purchase a silver figure from toys r us because it is not on there site.

  • @acalicocat1 thats tomarrow!

  • I know I read it somewhere. Lets hope that site was correct!

  • where you the creator of sonic gear ?

  • Yes, SonicGear is the site I own and maintain.

  • omg i love that website

  • i f we buy them from japan will they come threw the post

  • If you're referring to the cubic figures (mentioned below) they're not sold any more, as far as anyone's aware of. Unfortunately it's the same with most of the stuff seen here, you just can't find it in any country. Ebay's the place to look, but never buy anything "ReSaurus Figures" that ships from China on there.

  • what is that at 0:31

  • Those are 'cubic figures'. *may or may not be official name for them... They were made in Japan, and not real widely known. I think they appeared near the time of SA2Battle and were never brought to any other country, making them hard to get/unusual to see.

  • Great commercial! Thank you for telling me about the web sit. I am thinking of making a similar web site dedicated to fighting game memorabilia.

  • cool vid

  • we can buy the toys?

  • The toys here are from a variety of ReSaurus & Toy Island lines. They're all discontinued, however some online stores may still have some left (at a mark-up) but beware fake ReSaurus figures on ebay. The current maker of Sonic action figures is Jazwares & they are doing a great job so far.

  • lol sonic meatballz

  • Wow, cool ad =]

One question - Sonic told us that there's food and drinks. Now, my question is - if there's drinks, where's the famous Chaos Soda, huh?

  • lolz, nice reference XD

I would love to see Chao in Space now that i think about it :p

  • Here's something I would like to know. How did you get objects to fly in the air like that? My attempts at stop motion were limited only to ground level. I've always wanted to make clay figures jump into the air...

  • There are 2 ways I know to get a 'levitation' effect. One is to photoshop the frame-by-frame with your desired flying item, the other is to use fishing line and a rig (crossbar of any sort) that is above your set. Hang the item in position, then photoshop out the fishingline from each shot. The 2nd method was used for this video. Good luck, and hope this helps

  • the website is just awsome XD

  • nice

  • ooooookkkkkkkk......?

  • How did you animate Sonic's Spin Attack?

  • If seen for a short period, other similarly-sized items can be substituted for figures. In this case, a ball.

  • 1:28

I used to own a lot of these small figures!

I remember Crabmeat and Catakiller were my favourite!

I also have Sonic curtains that are well old! His arms are blue on it so it looks weird!

  • i like the chao figure

  • lol funny

  • haha thats so cool but in one of my movies could you plz tell me if those sonic tails knukles and shadow figures are mega blox if so thax

  • I remember buying the sonic shampoo a while back.. it had a ring game on it :)

  • Sonic's everywhere...little do we know...he may already rule the world!

  • hmm...good video...

  • what size are the robotnik's at 1:33 ?

  • Those Robotniks are from SegaWorld Sydney. The largest one is likely around 15+ inches, so the smallest could be assumed around 8 or so. These guys are fairly rare, so there's not a lot of data.

  • were u got then ???

  • Nice stop-Mo! The clay chao was super-realistic! I love the way you made Sonic spin jump with that blue ball!

  • dude. i go on your website alot!

  • OMG I us to have most of these. Good memories when i was a kid. Great video

  • That was good. =)

  • can u buy the figures from the site

  • Unfortunately, you can't buy the figures seen here directly from SonicGear. The ReSaurus ones (smaller figures) are no longer produced. However, the Toy Island ones (larger figures/space Knuckles) you can buy from Toys R Us, and various online action figure retailers.

  • How did you buy this stuff?

  • The action figures were all bought from Toys R Us. They are by Toy Island (mostly, except the very small Sonic) and may still be available on the internet today. They're from lines "Mega Bot" "Figures & Emeralds" and "Space Fighters" if you need to shop.

  • anyone know where/if I could but sonic action figures in stores? and i do know that i am over a decade late to be asking this, but im 12, and i have no idea where to find these.

thats what im spamming on videos that have to do with sonic action figures. but your replies have answered my question. so, you can still find sonic action figures today in toys r us?

  • You can get -some- figures at Toys R Us now, (2009) because Jazwares has re-released 2 of the lines (nither line seen here) from ToyIsland. (Super Posers & SA Line 1) To get the others, you need to shop online at places like ToyWiz and Ebay while watching out for sky-high prices.

Jazwares will soon release a unique line.

  • SWEET!!! there still being made! this might be a bit too much, but i've checked toys r us site,a nd they have no record of any. I live in Los Angeles, and ive called toys r us themselves. Do u know of any specific location around LA? and thanks for the help!

  • and how do u know all this stuff?? o.o u work for jazzwares or toys r us or u just got sources lol.

  • This particular info (on toys) I know from actually going to TRUs, & also from info from fans here on the net. Calling big chain-stores like that rarely does any good. You actually have to go to the store & search. Alternatly, you can force them to look up figures with the UPC codes, which are provided on SonicGear for the re-release on the old Toy Island stuff & the Super Posers re-releases & Werehog. If you bring these #s, they can look it up on store computers.

  • 1. whats TRU?

    2. lol i just did that today. i found an in stock shadow toy island figure. and i copied down each number, so ive got something for a more specific search. ill call them tomorrow.

  • cool website,do you no where to get the robotnik at 1:33

  • Glad you like the site!

The Robotniks at 1-33 are vintage. They used to be available at Segaworld Sydney, in Australia. They've become a bit rare these days, but once in a great while one may appear on Ebay since they're rather old.

  • Oh thank you so much they look so good,I saw it on ebay onece but it was in dollars or it was too expensive, anyways when will sonic gear commercial 2? come out anyway merry christmas and a happy new year!:)

  • i had Sonic spaghetti shapes all the time when i was younger, fucking yum!

  • i had it once and kept on searching for it but never found it again :(.

  • At 1:00, is that a Toy Island series 3 figure?

I actually was looking for sonic figures when I saw this ecact figure, however, it said it was made by Jazwares.

  • At the 1 minute mark, the Sonic seen is a Toy Island "Figures & Emeralds" line figure. Though not super-articulated, this was one of the best looking figures they ever made, so I tried to use him wherever possible.

    Jazwares:

Yes, they are re-releasing some of Toy Island's lines, but it remains to be seen just which ones they'll choose. (hopefully F+E will be selected)

  • Can You Take A Look At My SegaWorld Sonic Plush. He Looks Diffrent From All The Other SegaWorld Sonic Plushies.I Would Like To Know More About My Sonic Plush.Thank You.P.S. I Love Your Web Site

  • great vids like these should be on tv

  • Is egg emporium.egg real.please do not reply back see for yourself.

  • The site's closed ;(

  • no it isn't

  • YOU CANT BUY THINGS AT THAT WEBSITE

  • That's right, you can't. SonicGear is an online catalog of ALL Sonic items that were ever/are now available. Where it can, the site explains where or how you may be able to buy the items you see--and sometimes there is a link to the store so you can buy it.

  • i want the super sonic plush on your website it is at any places besides ebay

  • Unfortunately unless Sega decides to make another Super Sonic plush, Ebay is likely the only hope. It's quite a few years old now, so the only ones that remain are "second hand" type goods. Hopefully, Sega will release a new one soon, as many people would like this one!

  • sonic meatballs!

  • theres sonic FOOD? brb gonna get me a can of rouge

  • @Addicted2gaming XD I laughed for like 3 minutes

  • Comment removed

  • quite good

  • could you but things at this site

  • Amazingly well done, I really like it. The paper backgrounds take this from a valiant attempt to being an all out awesome video.

  • Isn't that a bootleg Sonic figure? I saw it in the Mutant section.

  • Comment removed

  • So cute.

  • how do you get knuks hat off

  • I do not think you can remove Space Fighter Knuckles' helmet without ruining him. (I never tried, though) What you see in the video is several different Knuckles action figures "Playing as" the same guy to give the effect of 'costume changes'etc.

  • how do you get knuks hat off

  • Ya call that stupid thats a great design of the back ground

  • This Awesome

  • u sound like caveman

  • Me Am. Now Buy Car Care With Lizard Spokes Men.

i didn't even know they made badnick statues

  • Awesome video man! I remember getting those Sonic Spegetti-o's all the time. I had a Sonic backpack and there was a Sonic ball toy they had. It was like Sonic in his ball form, and I was a ball to of some sort, lol. Man, they had a lot of good stuff.

  • i wish for the ones at 00:30

  • This was a very good ad. Nice job.

  • Sonic gear does not show the tommy figures from what ive seen. They haven't even shown the old sonic bendy figure.

  • lol the sonic adventure crew with their crazed leader that screws up in each episode sonic plushies

the sonic adventure japan comercial with the plushes

  • 00:24 I use to get that stuff all the time.

  • As soon as I saw this commercial I went straight to that website. Great job! You should make more like these!

  • nice commercial

    this website ROCKS

  • SONIC PASTA?

    WINNNNNNNNN!

  • Mmmmm...hermetically sealed. :)

  • I Actually Had Some of That Once Back in the Late 90's

  • I went there i saw all kinds of sonic things!

  • *sigh* they don't have any sonic franchise in canada.. Except games.

  • .. they did have a sonic spin-off series on teletoon in 1999 and 2000 ... but it got scrapped pretty quickly...

  • I've never seen sonic merchandise in United States before. Maybe they're only in japan!

  • It was here... back in '93... Good old days.

  • yeah, I haven't even been able to find Sonic stuff at the flea market!

  • Try ebay and hope.

  • yeah, but my mom has this rule that I can't use eBay until I'm 18. Go figure. Anyway, I am so going to Hot Topic now. lol. It'll be the first time I've bought something from there.

  • that a lot of sonicgear :O

  • I saw the metal sonic toy my brothers geting it on christmas mabe?

  • Where could i get any music of old SEGA games like this? thanks for any help and ideas

  • that metal sonic is very rare u can only get it on ebay

  • cool you can see that sonic figure at toys r us

  • does that they dont sell metal sonic toys i have enough sonic toys all i need is metal sonic p.s e-102 has a name and its omega

  • E-102's code name is Gamma. Ur talking about E-123 Omega.

  • xD It's cute =P

  • That was pretty good! Thanks for informing us! I can finally get a plush or action figure of Shadow and E-102 Y (GAMMA)!

  • Almost forgot, I REALLY need the Resaurus Sonic Adventure figure too!

  • The ReSaurus Sonic is likely Ebay only. ReSaurus is out of business (totally, as a company) so the figures just aren't made anymore. The only way to get ahold of one would be ebay, or a 'vintage' toy shop which sells things that are no longer on the retail market. I think that by now all internet retailers I know of are 100% out of these guys. The one in this video, I bought at retail at the time of its release several years ago.

  • Where can I get the Sonic figure with the thumb up besides Ebay? I REALLY need one!

  • you can get it at Toys R Us, I know cause i got one there

  • holy whhen the sonic plushies came i saw supersonic thats so cool

  • dude no freckin way i have sonic mega collection plus, sonic riders, and sonic heroes. and plus i like the song

  • PricelessssssssssssssssssSONIC

  • a commercial lasts less than one minute -.-

  • Most commercials are under a minute. TV sells spots for 15, 30, and 60 seconds usually. The commercial Sonic was TRYING to make was 30 seconds long. However, Knuckles had other ideas so what you see here isn't really his ad...

  • kunx action figures suk p.s.been on ur website,pretty cool man.4/5 =)

  • Lol, some parts are funny XDD

  • good

  • hahaha sonic meatballs wait a second.. i once remember getting a can of sonic spaggetios at my local super market :O
