if you want to get infinite ammo you have to first unlock level 4 for every gun. then after that it will give you the option to level it up again to level 5(infinite ammo)

It's the rocket launcher. You can pick it up in Wesker's scenario "Beginnings II". It in front of you when you run away from Ivan the Tyrant and you back into a corner with the railway car on your left side. After your chance to pick it up, Ivan would try to jump on you from the same railway car.

Yes, the MRL does major damage too. The rocket launcher must be really close to do any serious damages. Again, thanks for pointing that one out, Chunglo.

I know that you need the hand cannon for the twin ivans but with it it sure kills them faster and achieve a decent time for a S-Rank. Usually two shots into each of its heads and the game is over for that mission.

you'll need the hand cannon to defeat the twin ivans in Dark Legacy 1. Save all your hand cannon's ammo and you'll defeat them in good time in order to succeed of getting the S-Ranking. Those two are the hardest boss to beat in this game, time-wise.
