  • The greatest singer that ever lived. I miss him so much & love watching these videos. Thanks for posting them. btw..does anyone know why Marty would put his head on the microphone from time to time while he was singing?

  • SI SE FUE QPD. UN GRAN ARTISTA COMO POCOS PERO NOS DEJO UN GRAN LEGADO DE MUSICA. UN GRAN ARTISTA!!! MARTY ROBBINS.

  • Marty I wish that you were still here. i sure miss that wonderful voice. No one can replace you. You are one of a kind. Rest in peace.

  • What a great guy, showman, entertainer, awesome voice, great !

  • The steel guitar player is Katz kabiachi (not sure about the spelling). He was great. Got to see Marty on his last tour. I'll never forget it.

  • The steel guitar player is Katz kabiachi (not sure about the spelling).

  • who is the steel guitar player -- anyone know who this guy is -- ?

  • got to see ole marty 3 times. loved it.

  • Can anybody tell me when and where this concert was held?

And is it avalible on DVD?

  • Talent and music like this are so sadly missing from radio, live performances, whatever.

  • As I'm sure you all know, after Marty's first heart attack the Dr. told him he'd have to cut back his live performances...but he didn't. After a second they said he couldn't tour at all..but he still did. He loved performing for the audiences to a point it wasn't good for his health. We'll all miss ya Marty!

  • what a charming man and the best entertainer ever

  • he is one in a million and i am so glad he was in mine life.noone will ever come close to him either by voice or to my heart..i will always love him.he is simply one of the best, smoothest, and most gentablemen in all of country music.Marty loved you yesterday, love you still

  • great voice..

  • Marty was sure the comedian! Thanx fur sharin'!

  • great singer-- pity he never cut afew more tunes witha maritime flavour. He drove landing craft in ww2. Glad he had a great life after the war.

  • This is unbelievable, Dino himself, couldn't do it any better... And to sing a request right off the floor...

He simply, or surly is one of the top ten singers, entertainers of all time. What a talent, I wish

I had seen him live... I saw Elvis, over thirty times,

but would have loved to see this man in person...

Great talent. A true American Icon, and Hero...

And a great race car drive to boot... He had a

limited, but great Nascar career... What a talent.

  • @BigWheelHawaii Marty actually recorded this on a greatest hits album and I thought it was his song. My dad introduced me to his music while Marty was still alive but I never had the chance to meethim but my mom did b4 her and my dad married

  • Nice song and thank you for posting

loc139. Thank you gabrielle139 for sending my way. 5*****s

  • He certainly knew how to hold an audience

  • Romantic song!!!! from a great country voice.

  • You should see the video where Merle Haggard was impersonating Marty. Some of the looks that Marty gave Merle were priceless.

  • great vid would anyone know where this concert was held please respnd and what year it was held

  • Such a mellow voice...loved him...

Check out the polaroid camera shown at the begining. I love "Beyond the Reef...it is never heard anymore...I do not like the Country Crap they have out now...don't anybody get mad at me....that's my perso nal opinion.....

  • Your personal opinion is also that of myself and apparently a lot of others as I see a lot of statements similar to yours everyday. Today all you have to do to be a country singer is put on a pair blue jeans, a western shirt, belt or boots and they classify you as country, but I have never heard such crap as what is being rammed down our throats today as country.

  • And mine.-I don't know how they get away with it

  • Marty headed beyond the reef a little too soon. Thanks for posting!

  • God needed a mellow voice to accentuate his choir.

  • Magnifica voz!

    Fantastico!

  • Hi there Tarquin!First I want to ask you how you are,and I hope you are doing fine and your health is oke.And then I want to give you my comment on all of your great vids that you spend with us(Marty's fans).I heard some while ago( 2004)that also Marty's steelguitarplayer Katz Kobayashi on this vid has past away.I think at this moment that they (Marty,Don,Bill and Katz )will play these wonderful music in the Hall of Fame in Heaven.May they all rest in peace.

  • Too bad Marty had that bad ticker that caused him to check out way too soon. My guess is this performance took place not long before he passed in late '82.

  • What a singer! Only he can bring out the Romance in you.

  • I wonder which one he took to the hotel for a private concert after the show? LOL. What a good singer but if I tried to impress the ladies like he does, I'd get laughed at and slapped across the face...LMAO.

  • you are greatly missed Marty
