This was easily the best performance by a 2 year old filly last year, particularly around 2 turns. And Blind Luck's validated this race by winning the gr.1 Las Virgenes in California, gr.1 Kentucky Oaks, and gr.1 Alabama in New York as a 3 year old. She's also won gr.2 stakes in Arkansas and Delaware.
@Horses4ever8 Rachel is going to be in the Ladies Classic this year running against Blind Luck..I love RA but she might as well hang it up and retire to the breeding shed because this Filly is going to dust her.
Amen Hallelujah, Rose Katherine, and Bickerson's have all come back to destroy fields. In hindsight, this was one of those "freaky" efforts you really never see.
I think she got spooked a bit by something grabbing her attention just as she started to really break away. If you look, she pops her head up and she bends toward the inside; the jockey has to give her a good amount of right rein as she's really kicking in ... with tail in full flag.
OMG!!! What a burst of speed Blind Luck shows... Running down the stretch, she looks like a quarter horse does right after the gates open in a 4f. INCREDIBLE!
that's insulting, SHE IS NOT A QUATER HORSE!!!>:(
