It's been proven that a gsxr 600 nearly has a perfect power to weight ratio. Meaning it's power cancels out it's weight. So why get an R1 unless you have been riding a long time and want something different. It's less nimble but then again I Havnt ever ridden an r1 but the math is easily available online

@mattc1683 Wow.... The height of the bike are no different than the 600, and a taller rider would fut the same. extra weight negates the extra power a little, and its also the same weight as a 1000. The price is a rip. If u want a nimble bike u get a 600, for speed/agility you go with a 1000, for speed you go with a 1300. The 750 gets morons that are afraid of a 1000, yet are self concious of riding a 600. These guys shouldnt ride at all. Purpose means nothin its about showin off.
gsxr 600 runs 10's stock. Stock STI runs 13s. A GT30R STI probably runs 11s. If they raced long enough on the highway the STI's high top speed would have allowed it to pass the gsxr eventually. I own a GSXR 600, from a dead stop there probably isn't very many street cars that can beat it. On the highway there are quite a few cars that can beat it (top speed is only 160 mph, plenty of production cars that can go 170 mph+)

I had a 750 but traded up for a 1000 to drag race it. busa is a touring bike 600 is for the track. all have a purpose so shut up!

@mattc1683 Wow.... The height of the bike are no different than the 600, and a taller rider would fut the same. extra weight negates the extra power a little, and its also the same weight as a 1000. The price is a rip. If u want a nimble bike u get a 600, for speed/agility you go with a 1000, for speed you go with a 1300. The 750 gets morons that are afraid of a 1000, yet are self concious of riding a 600. These guys shouldnt ride at all. Purpose means nothin its about showin off.

gsxr 600 runs 10's stock. Stock STI runs 13s. A GT30R STI probably runs 11s. If they raced long enough on the highway the STI's high top speed would have allowed it to pass the gsxr eventually. I own a GSXR 600, from a dead stop there probably isn't very many street cars that can beat it. On the highway there are quite a few cars that can beat it (top speed is only 160 mph, plenty of production cars that can go 170 mph+)
