Why ... is slipknot and this band even being compared? From what i've seen from TISM, they like to do more of a comedy angle. Slipknot is like... nu-metal or whatever. Just because they both wear masks doesn't make them comparable when it comes to music styles.

No no, Slipknot are actually very good, TISM are shit. Just ask any true fan.
However, by being shit, TISM are somewhat more human than Slipknot, yet they still have to account for their crimes aagainst humanity by being in a rock band. Slipknot are going to heaven, which is their hell. It's confusing I know, but that essentially is what TISM does to you.
