  • Not too bad. I love the music in this one. Good job. :)

  • Very nice! I have a friend in Orlando that did ballet at BYU. I was a Folk Dancer there, but not in PAC. :-)

  • @vladtech What is your friend's first name?

  • I dance with her!

she is a very beautiful dancer and is a very sweet woman.

she has improved SO much and she played Nikiya in our production of La Bayadere.

    Love Ya Manja!

  • Nicely done. Your extensions are beautiful.

The only thing though, is to not make your arms as dramatic. Your first arabeque arms especially. (You dont want to be hitting your ear with your arm.)

  • i think u did a good job.....of course there are things so work on, like control with the pirouttes and close a tighter 5th when doing sissones, but i liked how u moved, ya know???? it really showed that u like dancing this piece....=D i lub ur costume too!!!!!!!!!

  • Nicely done! I am doing this variation this weekend but the choreography is a bit different. I love the lilac fairy, and I think you do a nice job. I know it can be hard to do a solo and be completely relaxed, I have the same problem in class and onstage; I tense up in the shoulders and tend to look a bit stiff, but all we can do is our best right? The rest will come!! Good job girl!!

  • ma cosa fa mentre gira dalla quinta? è un'effette del video?..no xk quella ond è veramente oscena..

  • To say that she sucks is really harsh, yes there are things that can be improved but everyone will have things that can be improved, i dont know a single dancer who comes off stage & says she danced perfectly! If ur going to criticise do it constructively! To the dancer keep smiling keep dancing and enjoy it, if you relax fully then everything instantly becomes smoother i know its easier to say than to do and its something i struggle with!I enjoyed watching the vid i hope u enjoyed dancing it!

  • I thank everyone for their constructive critiques. I think relaxing is a good helpful comment which I will implement. Also "feeling" to relax! I do enjoy this variation!

  • caruccia

  • best lilac fairy version of the dance. the steps are so smooth!

  • keep your chin up! but good job! also relax your shoulders. you have nice feet

  • she should relax her shoulders. also when she turns, the fall is a little too obvious i think. but over all it was beautiful!

    gd jobb:)

  • Relax girl.. you can have everything! Nice legs, outstanding bourees. The moment you "feel" you can relax your shoulders, they will help you to getting full fifth before igniting your pirouettes... and will also favor your balance to turn forever. This variation is Cuban Alicia Alonso's, and I really love it.

  • what people have said is very accurate! along with what they've said I would add, when you're bouree-ing en diagonale be a bit more weighty, it gives you more presence because you are lovely to look at in the first section, lovely use of the head but here you don't do much when it's a great opportunity to! Good Luck!

  • what company did this originally cause it's really pretty and suits you well

  • Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, USA

  • she has nice feets but the poit tecnique is poor,ridiculous...i can't see any coordination for pirouettes ,also the shounders.. oh my.. she has to work on it..so don't forget stomach, shoulders and abdominals btw the music is always gorgeous

  • i thought it was great extension, turns and lines although when pirouetting with arms in fifth, relax ur shoulders a little... :P

  • one of the better amature dancers (not competing in a prestigious competition) i have seen here, congrats, some very nice lines and controll, work on face shoulders and upper body. good luck

  • Nice bourrees but soften your arms because they look like arrows. Make sure to reach fifth before the double pirouette from fifth and don't swivel your arms. Very nice arabesques and extension!

  • Thank you.

  • ok nice legs!!! bt from the waist up not so gd!!!

i dunno if its the costume or nt bt the shoulders need relaxin mayb ur nervous or something!! and if u work on ur arms dont shorten them let the energy go through the fingers out in2 the audience!! u pointe ur feet so "pointe" stretch ur hands!!!

    just some tips!!

  • Thank you for your comment. It was very helpful to me! I think you are right.

  • that costume is not flattering on her body

  • I agree, the tutu goes up too high on her waist and it flips up on the ends, not a good combination

  • what year is this??!!

  • i did this exact varyation for my summer intencive...i love it and i can't spell for beans..:^)

  • the port de bras need work, and there is a lose of turnout in some areas. also when you do your turns from FIFTH make sure it is a real and clean fifth position. but the arbasques were very pretty, and i loved you arms coming out of the turns from fifth! keep up the good work!

  • something just doesn't seem right... i really think that it's the port de bras

  • where are the grande fouettes? lilac is supposed to be the hardest...

  • she tumbles too much after her turns

  • not too bad...although it looks like shes wearing her shouloders as earings, but pretty extension, and arabesques

  • Generally not too bad. Nice arabesque. You need to work on your port de bras, especially your arms in third (or fifth, depending on what method you study).

  • her shoulders are too hunched

  • Even though she is a little wobbly coming out of some of the pirouettes, I really like this, great sense of musicality.
