  • Amy was a truly gifted singer had she lived she easily could have been a serious jazz singer.

    Holliday,Garland,ring any bells?

  • @sergerungomo this song kinda reminds me of eartha kitt

  • @sergerungomo she was already a serious jazz singer? she accomplished just as much (if not more) than many of her genre peers

  • Rest in peace

  • You put it just right Amy.

  • I miss you too Amy :-(

  • I miss her a lot <33 :[

  • i couldn't help but tear up.. So much talent.. </3

  • god I fucking miss you amy

  • My favourite Amy song, such a beautiful voice. I have to agree with the top poster that you cant blame her ex boyfriend for her death. She was an overdose waiting to happen, God bless her though, she was magic.

  • so expressive, so captivating... we dont need another hero, we have enough with this one.

  • I miss you Amy! :'(

  • hermoso, vídeo hermosa canción,AMY hermosa

  • This is Amy at her finest - the song and her interpretation is incredible - the soulful sound of her voice leaves the listener yearning for more, her pronunciation and the emotion with which she sings makes you want to let go of anything and everything you know and just simply be in that moment. Some songs you can just play over and over again and for me this is how it is with this one - beautiful and enticing - I love it

  • Your music is timeless and you were a great person...despite the rep the paps and public see you...you will always be my star, my role model and the best singer around!!! Adele ain't got shit on you!! <3 Amy Jade Mermaid <3

  • akh!!! This is a beautiful and passionate song that has totally made me me in so many ways. Thank you for making such a wonderful video and please, if you like this track, please look-at myChannel. It also has some great inspiring information that can help any interested person make moreMoney.

  • LOVE you AMY!your voice makes me cry everytime!!Rest In Peace!!

  • would everyone stop going on about her death and how it was her fault. Just enjoy this beautiful music<3

  • HOWDY FOLKS !! check out NIKITA O ROWE ,THE VOICE OF IRELAND.. sing amy winehouse!!!

  • As much as I love Amy and would like to have someone to blame for her death, she was the type of girl who made her own decisions. She just found out she could temporarily dull the pain with drugs. A greater loss to the musical world than many realize. She was a true genius.

  • @akanawha Decision? After a while taking drug or alcohol becomes a MUST. Did you know, she did not attend once a birthday party prepared for her? Do you know the reason? She said, she looked very ugly. Was it possible, she was not aware her ugliness was caused by drugs? Do you think she was NOT trying to give up both drug and alcohol?

A path leading to death can NEVER be chosen as a way of life. If she was desparate and could not see it, what about her family? Were they also addicted?

  • @OTBASAR You are right O. I just meant at some point it was a decision to start. I am just sorry she is gone. I don't hold her drug taking against her. I just hate that it took her away. She is after all my idol. You know that!

  • @akanawha I know..You, me and few others..we are trying to keep her as high as possible. There are 2 major type of comments here which I hate:

    1) That was her choice and way of life

    2) Her family has done everything for her

If both were true and acknowledgable she would still be among us.

  • @OTBASAR I think the same.

  • I don't care who started who on what or etc...it just breaks my heart that such beauty and talent is gone...Amy Winehouse is amazing and I wish that there was more music by her in this world. This song just makes me weep because I feel the unhappiness and sorrow - it's life in an aspect I just can't seem to "get used to" - why does the music "business" destroy the "artist"...it's almost a curse to become famous for your God given gift - sooo sad...

  • AFRICA KIDZ DIE BY THE MIUTE TRUE WORDS ,YO GOD IS HERE NOW

  • 1 dies,a million cries,a million die in africa,nobody gives a shit...

  • @curvychik23 No one has heard the music of these millions of which you speak... I must say Africa has not inspired me in anyway which I KNOW is their intent. Africa shares nothing with anyone, African leaders sell out the people - what else is new? I don't think this will always be --- It's changing now...isn't it??? NOTHING lasts forever, not tyranny and not life so just do the best you can do each day in your own life and the lives of those you love...that's all anyone can do...

  • @yvetteaonmyown Don't get me wrong i love amy,its just that the industry puts so much more value in these celeberties like they are higher than normal humans

  • @curvychik23 I know what you are saying but to me - it's just the way it is "right now" we all have some "work" to do - you know? Life is not fair and death is a horrid experience "I imagine" for everyone...let me tell you birth ain't no walk in the park either.. we all get here in different ways under different circumstances our individual experiences are diverse and for the millions I will NEVER know I am happy to hear the music of 1 - Amy Winehouse...still...'it can't rain all the time...."

  • indeed...

  • RIP MISSY WE WILL MISS U XXXXXXXXX

  • As much as I feel sorry for this womens family, we, as parents, need to use the unfortunate deaths as examples as to the evils of drug use. I told my son when he was a teen that before he attempts to use any drug because his friends think its cool, I asked him to show me one success story from drug use and if he can find one I'll show him 10 tragedies from using drug. Do not let these deaths be in vain, teach your children that their actions have consequences.

  • @BadKitty0718 It's seldom I meet here middle aged people with children. Then I want to ask you the question: 'How would you react to Amy's addiction case, when you had recognized she was using drugs and alcohol?' It was exactly a period of 5 full years.

  • @OTBASAR Amy was an adult, so there does come a point when a parent can do little but sit and watch the destruction. However, anr example of a parent intervention was Britney Spears. If those same avenues are available in GB then that is what I would have done.

  • @BadKitty0718 Besides, we are talking about people who have means beyond our comprehension (at least my comprehension), that are surrounded by enablers and people who will do anything for a buck.

  • @BadKitty0718 If Britney's father would intervene, so could Amy's father do as well, but he didn't want. It was even suggested to him. Laws can NEVER be against human life. Amy was giving harm to an individual. Whether that individual was someone else or herself was not supposed to make a difference. Lawyers are for those purposes. It would take only 15 minutes, to get that permission from the court, if her father had applied for it. Watching such a tragedy was same as taking part.

  • i kinda wish she wasn't so succesful ebcause she may have been alive if she didn't have enough money to buy drugs

  • I like to think of myself as a cold. unfeeling and unemotional person. This song proves me wrong.

  • GOD bless amy.....

  • Whitney Houston said it best, "The biggest devil is me. I'm either my best friend or my worst enemy," Houston told ABC's Diane Sawyer in an infamous 2002 interview with then-husband Brown by her side." No one forced these people into drugs, it was a choice.

  • @BadKitty0718 totally agree. ilovemileycyrusxx1 has it so wrong.

  • @BadKitty0718 There is something evil in the music world. Does anybody know a musician not addicted to alcohol or drugs?

  • @OTBASAR Its not just the music world. Until people get a clue that nothing good can come from doing drugs, it will continue to be a plague upon the world.

  • @BadKitty0718 Whitney houston went ill when she got with bobby brown he used her for money and tried to get a music career from her causse she is the queen of rnb and he is a evil prick who should of died instead of the beautiful whitney plus bit weird two talented ladies die cause of men who neglect them and used them

  • @BadKitty0718 All of the enablers are blood suckers. No one may have forced them but, no one in their camp tried hard enough to stop them. It's a sad story how the people around you won't tell you the truth as long as they are getting a paycheck.

  • @BadKitty0718 yea people choose to be drug addicts... not.

  • @chaboo914 I'll have to semi-agree though, people choose to do drugs, addiction comes when they don't try hard enough to stop, but again, the people around them are also to blame especially if they're parents, siblings, partners, lovers, someone who has a deep, close personal understanding and connection with the victim.

  • Drugs=Losing Game :-(

  • best song ever written.

  • Whoever compiled this clip did a really good job. My favourite Amy song for ever.

She is a great loss to the world of jazz and blues - no one around at the moment has that heartbreaking soulful tone.

Adele is fine, and accomplished, but she's pop really.

  • I love u amy am crying as i listen to this song.....why did u have to die?

  • cant believe u r dead

  • cant stop loving this

  • money killed amy!

  • R.I.P Amy.....Love you so much!

  • Those men who made our lovely singers Amy and Whitney addicted to drugs and alcohol are still living, and I do not understand that.

  • @OTBASAR whiney has nothing on Amy

  • Song im going play on my funeral :,( </3 RIP Amy Winehouse

  • Amy is the only artist that has me addicted to her amazing talent and magnetic personality. Never had I had separate cds for my house, car, ipod and at the parents house. HA Shes got her hooks in me!! Amazing!

  • Tears and tears again..

  • its so sad that all the most brilliantly talented beautiful singers died at such a young age and most people today, in fact nobody can sing better than amy or even close to her singing. this is including whitney also so R.I.P amy and whitney. no one can replace them ever

  • she has been left too alone perhapse when she needed someone to face withdrawal and rehabilitation.....get off drugs, cocaine 'n heroine mostly(obiouvsly),is very very very very hard walk....I have having so many difficulties....that God helps me!.....

  • She did quit...unfortunately without help to come off the drugs, her body couldn't take it, it was too used to having them, she needed help. RIP Amy!

  • Fucking drugs.

  • beautiful

  • Stop blaming blake truth of the matter she had a problem jus like 80% of americans do with drugs he didnt force her to do shit.

  • This is def.one of the songs u can def. hear that she is singing with all her heart.. May she rest in PEACE!

  • One of the best love songs of all time!

  • 3 Amy, we miss-u!!! 3

  • Sade didn't go the way of Amy and Whitney

  • ohhh.. how i wish she never met blake.... my heart aches whenever i listen to amy's music.. its soo deep i can feel her misery and pain... T_T RIP: AMY WINEHOUSE

  • It amazes me that anyone could ever compose a song this great. I wonder if she realized how great a song writer she was? Not to mention her great singing voice.

  • So......i covered this. Love me. :3

  • TU VÍDEO TE QUEDÓ DE WOWWW!!!

  • Personality and obscurity + drugs is a losing game! A person who is willing to try drugs without any knowledge of the circumstances of the substance they take. Weather it being an alcoholic drink or another drug substance. Amy was a girl who was a victim of a culture that needs to be ridden of! Amy in my eyes was a talented girl with a voice that no other can match!

  • amy forever ♥

  • @ilovemileycyrusxx1 You may have an agreeable point there, but I find it quite amusing how everything that goes wrong in today's society -there's always someone to blame. Amy and Whitney were both extremely talented women who could not manage their own emotions and chose to drink and abuse alcohol. Get over it.

  • Do you know that this sweet sweet song is one of the best videos ever made? It is for real for sure and even everyone I knows thinks so. If you like the better things in life, please check out my profile! I can show you how my bank account is always getting bigger. - RIP? AMY

  • this is unreal.. that voice, that words, that lirics..that amazing voice..like it touch you in the mind.. like it play youre life.. like it so perfect! nenadjebiva i nenadmašna si! :-D

  • Beautiful .......

  • Such a talented young lady we lost she was amazing her voice brings tears to my eyes her music is a legacy so powerful the only drug amy was attatched to was that evil blake R.I.P Amy

Also Whitney houston the greatest voice she has a living legacy her drug was that evil Bobby brown R.I.P Whitney

  • @ilovemileycyrusxx1 Stop It. How DARE you. How can you have the audacity to blame these two men for the deaths of these women. They may have introduced them to drugs but these women were NOT forcefed them. I LOVE amy with a DEEP passion, but to blame it all on Blake is Fucking ridiculous. In the end, Amy was off drugs. She had been clean for years, though her alcohol addiction from her teenage years continued. Their own self destructive natures killed them, nobody else. You can't trust tabloids

  • @Metspart i totally agree. everyone has a choice.

  • @Metspart Missing true family love at teenage-->look out for love outside home-->addiction-->Blake-->frustration-->more addiction-->health problem--> career failure-->depression-->highly more addiction-->heart failure-->death

Unless someone had broken this chain during the 5-year long time span, her loss was inevitable.

  • @OTBASAR Uh...that isn't how her life went, hon

  • @Metspart Parents split when she was 9. Family disorder began much earlier. She started using drugs at16. Even her father admitted family problem could have initiated her addiction. Whatever the cause is parents are responsible of their children at least till they are 18 if not beyond.

  • Comment removed

  • @Metspart Amy wasnt an alcoholic until that evil prick blake got into her life , he cheated on her took money of her and he should be dead not the beautiful amy winehouse she was so talented and im her biggest fan

  • @Metspart C'mon, meet Blake has been the ruin of Amy Winehouse.

Sorry, but you cannot deny that Blake had an absolutely devastating influence on Amy.

  • Love You Amy xx

    R.I.P

  • What most people who have never taken drugs dont understand is that drugs like cocaine become a part of you and your blood and without them you dont feel ok and feel mentally and physically sick, if u manage to have a break you will need a replacement like alcohol to numb these feelings of sickness, then shit can go messy if you got lots of money to carry on. Fortunately people like us who aint millionaires cant carry on doing it cos we cant afford it! Sadly Amy had too much money.

  • @MrJayjaylp1

    Sigh

  • @MrJayjaylp1 You got some issues dude.

  • God bless these talented people that gave us so much joy

  • Something is wrong in this music world pumping addiction. An individual therapy will never help. As a whole that atmosphere of music industry requires an extensive rehab.

You can not get rid of mosquitos, if you do not dry out the swamp.

  • Will Always Love You Amy... Love might have been a losing game... But our love for you will continue forever... wish I could have told you that girl.....
