Just came back from Acadia. We did this trail with my family, which included two 13-year-olds, a 15-year-old and a 10-year-old. All went well but if we had known what we were in for (ladders on the sides of cliffs, etc.) we wouldn't have done it with them. My brother and sister-in-law are very experienced Acadia hikers and suggested that it would be an easy hike for all of us...! Gorgeous views and I'm glad I can say I did it, but one false move and you're dead!

Beehive is best appreciated at Night, in my opinion. In fact, several hikes in Acadia are really exciting at night - the best part? No tourists. And Yes, Zion is amazing.

If any of you make it out there, Do the West Rim Trail. Its 15 miles one way, truly an amazing hike.

Not too difficult but definitely not something anyone inexperienced should do when raining. Also, that 30 min to 1 hour hike people tell you can be deceiving, so make sure to carry some water.

@ajussiwannabe its actually a 3 hr round trip hike and is no joke. this is just a small part of it higher up gets much more scetchy.

That looked like fun. I have a bunch of videos up on acadia, but nothing like that. I try to stay off Precipice and bee Hive trails, too many people fallen to their deaths. Anyone who thinks these hikes are easy should come on up to Acadia and give them a try...

@CAVEDWELLER007 Wow, I wasnt aware of any deaths. Yeah its a crazy hike, much much more itimidating in person. I just did the Bee Hive coming down while raining.
