They don't seem to like masks or even ears on a hairband. I got sequinned cat shaped ears for Halloween one year and my late cat stared at them like mad until I took them off at the end of the night. It was like he was pondering whether I was going to become a giant cat or just that humans are ridiculous for wearing such things.
