At first in the chorus he says " I used to go where the devil don't go" and then in the end he says: " where the devil sits with a grin". Does it mean, by the context, that he's grown up? Like, he didn't know the evil and then he couldn't be face to face with that...and then as he's older, he knows that the evil exists, and can "see" it , like the evil is kinda near him and he knows that?
