I saw Precious on opening night, and had been waiting for it for months when I first heard about Lee Daniel's new project last winter, even though I hadn't read Push by Sapphire

when the trailer came out, I knew there were some powerful performances in the film, including Mo'Nique's which was just shocking both in its depth and in its darkness

I think you mix up Gabby the actress and person with her character, but I agree in that she gave an outstanding performance
