this is actually a much more literal interpretation of the song than I had imagined it... wat i had imagined was a guy who had a love addiction n jumps from gf to gf n it doesnt matter who the girl is cuz all he wants is a gf. that's how i imagined it... not an actual play needing a damsel. i actually thought that it wud be much more powerful if he needed a damsel in distress in real life rather than for a play. But i do like the song a lot!

@purtierdanu Your interpretation isn't wrong - actually I think that's what's cool about this storyline, it can be read in a few different ways (and you watch it a few times, with a different concept in mind each time). In one way, he's just directing a play, but on another level, he's also building an intimate relationship with each of his leading ladies. It's up to you, the viewer, to decide what's really going on. :)
