Its n64 I have this game and I don't understand what is so funny. You have your new Smackdown vs Raw 2009 with wrestlers people don't give a crap about whereas this game was made after the really crappy WWF/E games made by Acclaim and awesome WCW games made by THQ. I was surprised the "WCW Revenge" guys made a WWF game with the greatest wrestlers ever this was THQ's first involvement in WWF/E games

I heard so much about that but it never once happened to me. I played that game inside out from the first day it was released. I actually played that game religiously (as far as wrestling games go) along with WCW/nWo Revenge until SmackDown! Just Bring It came out for the PS2 and then I bought each game until SvR 01 or 02 (and did not get another one until SvR 2009 and now 10). I must be one of the lucky few. It did happen to my friend once or twice, though. At least there was no stat-building.
