I suffer from Hereditary Angioepdemia. It's tough when I have sever attacks I usually just end up going to the hospital and getting three bags of plasma.
I have this condition myself along with chronic urticaria. I don't recommend it for children but my only cure other than cortisone shots is alcohol. I get really drunk and the swelling goes away. Its not pretty but it works. I don't know why it works for me but it does.
