I've actually seen As I Lay Dying in concert a couple times. They are a bit harder than what I like but I haven't listened to them on cd much, I'm going to look them up a bit more. Thanks for the recommendation!

Relient K, Capital Lights (sorry, I didn't get their autograph for you guys, I didn't even get to meet them), Eleventyseven, Hawk Nelson, The Media Says, FM Static, Skillet, the All American Rejects...a lot of stuff, but usually resulting in only one song from a certain band on my iPod.
So I agree with you completely about vocals being one of the most important things when listening to music and also about piano.But really? Vocals are just too important (which honestly is why I could never get into mewithoutyou..I tried though. I really did)
And while I could go on for a bit listing the music I'm into...I will first say that I agree with basically every band you mentioned (I like how you said Relient K first. Heehee) and that my two favorite bands are Muse and The Killers. Yay!
Relient K HAD to be first, they're my favorite! I like the killers a lot too! Haven't listened to muse very much. I agree with you about mewithoutyou too, same reason I haven't gotten into their stuff.

hey, have you ever heard the badn "as i lay dying?"
if not i would probably suggest the song "the darkest nights"
they aren't as much into the vocals for the whole thing, but i'm a real fan of the clean vocals in the chorus.
his emphasis is on the lyrics more than vocals, i think, but let me know if you like them,
they're proably a bit to far on the metal scene for waht you like though.

lol, I like a lot of music, I gots 140gb on my computer, but unfortunately it's full and I can't get anymore.
One of my fav genres is teh funk music, but obviously, there is much much more.

I explore a lot, I try to get a lot into every genre, but there is plenty I don't like either. As I said, I spend a lot of time exploring.
I like to have at least 50% of my music I listen to songs I have never heard before.
