Nice rifle...I like the 91/30 . I believe the Finnish version of the gun was what Simo Hayha got over 500 of his kills with. I am hoping to get one soon.
The bayonett is tight because... well. Thrust it to a bag of wheat (a person) once with all the force you can, it should come off quite easily after that.
@thegodfathersam All of the Mosin Nagant Rifles were used. Probably not in some wars, but this is very extremly rare. most of them if not used in wars were probably used for traning.
nice! mine is a '42 "izzy". they say that you are to shoot with the poker on to be most accurate. but i see alot of people dont. must be some hidden info. about how to re-aline the sights. i was just going to get another poker and cut the fucker off the put it on the gun. good vid. man.
When you bought it from JG Sales and got it did you have to clean it? Also what was the other accessories that came with it? I was just wondering if you get the Mosin Nagant tools. Thanks!
yeah i had to clean it just a little bit. the barrel was a little bit dirty but it cleaned up nicely, and then i cleaned the bolt and thats all i had to clean.
sucks mine bayonet dose'nt fit and the cleaning rod always comes out when i shot it maybe where is screws in was stripped just a guess damn dude nice hex and nice wood
i use the surplus ammo. i'd get both from jg, the rifle and the ammo. but you need to find an ffl dealer to do the transfer for you. or you could just get it from big 5, but i'd go with jg, they're at the top of my list.
im looking in to purchasing a mosin nagant 91/30...its a great rifle...what kind of ammunition do u use, the military surplus corrisive or the other kind that is not corrosive?
